athletics is ruined by steroids and it will only get worse. do you people think bolt is clean? how can an athlete go from 10 flat to 9.50 within 3years? u tube victor conte and he'll explain!!
@marti18golfgolf couldn't agree more , there a lot of people that are just completely blind when it comes to these things , i wish it wasn't so but sadly thats the case. its just a matter of if you get caught not when.
@marti18golfgolf it is most certainly possible for an athlete to take .5 seconds off his 100m time... u gotta remember bolt was 19 when he was running 10 flat, not saying everybody can do it but if u take a look at the greatest sprinters of all time im pretty sure that you'll find most of them had taken .5 seconds or more off of their 100m time between the ages of 20 and 23...asafa powell is one of them, he dropped his time from a 10.50 in 2001 to a 9.87 in 2004
@MrFutureOlympian Exactly. Plus Bolt wasn't even training for the 100 full time. It's completely different kind of speed training for the 100 than there is for the 200 and 400. Look how crappy his block work used to be. He was 2nd to last out of the blocks in the Olympic final. Now its among the best in the world.
The aim of these published exercises by HSI (Miller, Ato, Greene, Drummond, ...) could be to give the audience an impression of: Due to latest methodologies and knowledge in their training they do have an advantage on the track (in the past). Honestly, it's no developing new sport and there should be no significant advantage in contrast to other fellows. Otherwise they wouldn't open their secrets in the media...
After practicing T&F in a club and having get some deeper understanding about training methods, nutrition, any other success factors and after reading internet sources about the widespread doping story (Prof Werner Franke, Fuentes clients, GDR research based methods and "nutruition", Lance Armstrong and his appearence at the California tour together with Floyd Landis replying to the journalist after having asked for former drug cheater Landis:
"[You have not the value of the stool you are sitting on]" , John Ziegler MD Dianabol developer after having heard of Nazi Testosteron stories in WW2 and the usage of soviet athletes in the beginning 1940s and 50s, Charlie Francis quotes and his - among leading sprinters - popular internet chat on getting more speed, Carl Lewis case 2004, statistics of final participants at major competitions and their cheating career after and before, Official
institutions of sports trying to protect several cheaters to stabilize their sports and business
the most and significant impact on measureable performance improvement: drugs.
some proofs:
B. Johnson tried to cheat a second time after having faced reality (only minor success in 91/92 with times around 10,20 or 10,30)
The export of former GDR coaches was not a guarantee for getting the same success. The circumstances weren't the same (full knowledge but without the one factor)
I bet if you go to their practices you would see them drive for 30 meters. Its a different ball game when your in competition racing other people. I bet she could beat you running.
Good stuff! You always got to drive out of the blocks. This is excellent video for rookies. Mo has the best drive phase. Search Maurice greene if you want to learn more.
Excellent video. The analogies used by John, Maurice, Tori, and Inger were well done. You can actually visualize the experience of the drive phase thru their explanations.
Video looks it was made in the 80s :p but great stuff!!!
