Matter of fact, Chicago had a horrible winter last year, barely had a summer to speak of, and is now in the midst of another brutally cold and snowy winter. Millions of years ago the level of Carbon Dioxide was 20 times as high as it is today thats why the flora and vegetation was much diverse, places that are deserts today were lush green rainforests, as the plants sucked all the CO2 from the atmosphere due to their abundance it lead to their own extinction.

Humans and animals do indeed rely on plants but humans and animals won't be around to eat the plants if they're killed off by flooding and extreme weather due to rapid heating. LOL. Good one. I've heard that cold winter/hot sumer theory for years, but I spent the majority of my 47 years in Chicago, and it never really seemed to pan out. Matter of fact, Chicago had a horrible winter last year, barely had a summer to speak of, and is now in the midst of another brutally cold and snowy winter. Looks more like an Ice age than global warming to me, but hey climate change is climate change. Any excuse to raise taxes and take away our freedom will do.

Corporate America has its hands in all sides. Corporations lobby to both not clean up at all (which saves billions) and lobbies in favor of carbon taxes which is very lucrative for energy companies because of the carbon permits trading market and derivatives market.
Either way they have their hands it in. Much like corporate America has its hands in both parties. Personally I think the idea of the "untax" might be the way to go.
Still, science is science whether or not it benefits anyone.

The argument is simple, man-made climate change is popular because there are big financial interests behind it, if you want to talk purely science then politics and financial interests should be kept seperated from science. There are thousands of scientists that are on either side of the debate, but the majority of scientists that agree are shills so they cannot be trusted.

Where did you pull those 97% when there havent even been independent surveys done on what the "consensus" is. the Major sources of CO2 are Natural, Water Vapour is more of a Greenhouse gas than CO2. There is nothing ANTHRPOGENIC about Global Warming or Global Cooling it is the Earth's and Sun's Natural Cycles that determines the Earth's tempreture. Millions of years ago the level of Carbon Dioxide was 20 times as high as it is today thats why the flora and vegetation was much diverse, places that are deserts today were lush green rainforests, as the plants sucked all the CO2 from the atmosphere due to their abundance it lead to their own extinction.

Volcanism was several times higher than it is today and the earth's orbit around the sun was different. Not so today. Even then the CO2 levels did not rise 120 ppm in less than 200 years. The CO2 levels have been steady at around 300 ppm (usually lower) for the past 20 million years.

Talking about CO2 levels and their effects on plant means little for humans. CO2 is good for plants (even though in too high levels CO2 can cause acidosis for plants) but bad for humans and animals and bad for the polar caps. CO2 is a GHG that acts like a blanket for the earth's atmosphere and makes the planet warmer than it needs to be to sustain current non-plant lifeforms and of course raises ocean levels by polar melting.

Even if the doomsday your talking about does come about becuase of the 0.38% trace amount of CO2 the plants will just counter that by taking up more CO2 and they'll growing faster and bigge using up more CO2 which will bring the CO2 levels back to an equilibrium.

Humans and animals do indeed rely on plants but humans and animals won't be around to eat the plants if they're killed off by flooding and extreme weather due to rapid heating. A 2 degree Celsius rise in the global temperature average is enough to melt the polar caps and put most coastal areas underwater.

And there is no explanation of how the supposed temperature increase at the top of the troposphere, which is very cold, can produce heat at ground level. And since this is also known, some climatologists revert back to the near-earth analysis. They can't figure out where it is happening, but it has to be happening, god said so.

There is no scientifically valid mechanism for carbon dioxide creating global warming, because CO2 absorbs the limited radiation available to it in about ten meters. An increase in CO2 only shortens the distance, which is not an increase in temperature. Since scientists know this, a fake mechanism is contrived for the top of the troposphere based on thin spectrum shoulders.
