My point here is that China have done many things to Darfur people, it is still not enough, but actions are louder than sounds, compare with others,who just sit there and Bla Bla Bla~~~~@#~!#@#%$ China did a great job. i belive the media is so interesting in Darfur because they want transfer eyeballs from Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan to other place, and lighten the pressure on US government. SO people on Youtube if you wanna helps, do some thing, some thing real, otherwise just shut the fXXk up

Chinese government also encourage Chinese companies in Sudan make some contributions, since year,2000, chinese companies have diged 46 deep-wells to provide Darfur people fresh water, and build few energy station to provide electrical power to Darfur people.

until now, Chinese government have support Sudan people ￥80,000,000's goods for humanitarianism purpose and provide provide education and training to Darfur people. according to sudan governor, China provide the most supplies for Darfur people, far more than US government.

BTW, in year 2007, Chinese Governor went to Sudan three time to convince Sudan government to accept UN sent peace keeper to Sudan, and be the first country sent engineer solider to Sudan( Chinese Government prefer senting engineer solider for UN mission rather than combat troops, these engineer will build some roads and bridges for Sudan people)

Chinese governors are focuse on their own problems, like increase their GDP or provide their people better life ( an average income for a chinese workers only US$200 a month(8-10hours/day, 7day a week), so chinese people are not able to help other peoples in the world too much(Both time and money)provide these people more cheaper goods is only thing they can do.

Bjork sang "Tibet Independance" at her Shanghai concert on February 3 this year! We are so proud of her. That was the freedom of speech at its best! She sang for the opening ceremony 2004 Athens Olympic game also. She is love by millons of people all around the world.

Well said, for the Chinese government it's a strategic military outpost and also way of boosting the ecconomy through tourism. For the Tibetans however China's occupation is a loss of culture, spirituality and identity.

That is a contributing factor to the loss of culture in Tibet, thanks for bringing that up. It is part of the reason that there are lots more Chinese in Tibet than Tibetans.
As for becomming westernized, who hasn't? Happens to all of us.

It's up to him really, but I personally thing we can convince China by accepting them, rather than excluding them. Nobody reacts well to a boycott. I am an American living in China, and its not all scary and communist like people think. As long as I don't talk about Chairman Mao, I can do whatever I want!

Yeah, my friend (a Canadian) went in reverse on a freeway just outside of Beijing, cuz he missed an exit. A cop whizzed right by him. Nothing happened. In the US, that would be like 1,000 fine and a night in jail at the very least.
