I'm so sick of crime, the police say that the media are blowing it all out of proportion. But I've been living in New Zealand for 7 years now, never came in direct contact with crime. Until, that is, last year. When my auntie and I were in a car coming home from a hard day at work, the brazen thief opened the door and stole my auntie's hand bag which contained a significant amount of cash as she was taking the days takings from the business. Enough already, we need action...

I am so fustrated with local youth crime. My elderly mother has been threatened, burgled, intimidated, etc so many times I am growing to hate maori youth. This in Papakura. But she refuses to report any in fear of retribution. Others she told me of that also were not reporting, so low numbers of reported crime mean nothing. More and more people are just not reporting crime.
