As long as your mirror has a short focal length. It should work reasonably well as long as you are careful with your alignment. These mirrors have about a 4" focal length. Although this lamp is 500W, I have a dimmer on it, so it's actually only putting out about 250W.

Interesting experiment, I found one of the 7 inch beauty mirrors and wow lots of power.
