Among the best musics in the world. In fact the sound of this album is excellent, but, what a pity, the sound that we can hear here is too bad, there is too much wow. Another very bad thing in this video : the pictures don't show the musicians playing the music we hear. Therefore, this video should be titled "how to shit on a masterpiece".
Part two is good and introspective but T.D.'s masterpiece is Rubicon pts one and two.Undescribably beautiful and haunting, composition on another level that makes even the most accomplished classical piece sound primitive. Beyond description.....just experience.

This album was the promise fulfilled of the electronic/computer music revolution that actually started at MIT in the late 1940s. This is what can be done to create incredible, almost-impossible-to-realize music. A masterpiece.
learned to love them in late seventies/early eighties. My brother had four of their albums: stratosfear, encore, sorcerer and this one Ricochet. Still love their music from this time. I'm less impressed with their music on later albums.
I just want to say People are idiots, why didn't Tangerine Dream become legends and poeple the Depeche Mode are still in business... this shit drives me crazy!
The 1st time I heard this music I was 12 years old (1978). I would put the tape player under my pillow and drift into a deep sleep. Today, 33 years later, it still has that effect!

So much even that I can barely keep up with all the great doom metal/black metal/psytrance/chillout records coming out. For example: /watch?v=Cj_P2UcWPUI

@qwq45... You made the translation! LMFAO!!! je bent slechts een zielig persoontje... petit gens, petit monde... Kowai schweinhund! In 5 talen geschreven zodat je er toch geen ballen van verstaat ---> written in 5 languages I master so you won't even understand a word of it! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
@aljoshabre but this idiot, is too base to realize that. that was rude to the person who uploaded this video. not surprising, this person who has no self respect will not have any for others. shows what type of low and grimy society he comes from.
@qwq45 Consider this alternative to your assumption of hypocrisy. Your comment assumes "violent" words are against "hippy" ideals, and that all condemnation comes from a lack of tranquility.
Neither of these assumptions is necessary. A person can condemn perceived destruction or unpleasantness without forsaking tranquility, and the "violence" of words is physically harmless.
For pacifists, potent (emotionally disturbing) rhetoric is superior to physical harm to induce progress.
no wonder liberal hypocrites listen to this band. isnt this bands music about peace and tranquility.but they write the music for a violent horror movie. rather hypocritical and contradictory of them, wouldnt you say. a perfect match for aging hippies, now under the moniker, liberals.
@Kurokiii I KNOW IM GOOD AT HUMILIATING IDIOTS. YOU WERENT EVEN ABLE TO REPLY. WHAT WAS THAT. WAS THAT THE LAST REPLY YOU RECEIVED FROM A ADOLESCENT . IT HUMILIATED YOU, SO YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD ONE TO LIFT. THERES MANY PROBLEMS WITH THAT. BUT ILL SAY 1. YOURE AN INSECURE, AWKWAED DEPENDENT. THATS WHY IT WORKED SO WELL ON YOU. Yes, I know, but 3 years isn't a particularly big difference.
"TD is something special and older."
Gives me the impression you mean it's like decades older, like comparing Lady Gaga to Michael Jackson, not like Pink Floyd to the Beatles.
And yes, I know they're different, I was just thinking you meant that tangerine dream was much older than Kraftwerk.
Not trying to start a flame war, just miscommunication.
I got ears too, and I think both deserve much praise for their own styles.
