  • @fantasticzakk that is so cool! it's inspiring that music can do that.

  • Among the best musics in the world. In fact the sound of this album is excellent, but, what a pity, the sound that we can hear here is too bad, there is too much wow. Another very bad thing in this video : the pictures don't show the musicians playing the music we hear. Therefore, this video should be titled "how to shit on a masterpiece".

  • wow

  • this song on shrooms is amazing

  • Some part of this song reminds you of 70's Sci-Fi horror !

Still a great song, sometime I love to listen to it while driving.

  • each to their own!

  • I like Tangerine Dream. And Cannabis!

  • @cynthiaVTS yes, and gay sex!

  • TANGERINE DREAM... the most perfect name for the Cannabis Cup Winner

  • Part two is good and introspective but T.D.'s masterpiece is Rubicon pts one and two.Undescribably beautiful and haunting, composition on another level that makes even the most accomplished classical piece sound primitive. Beyond description.....just experience.

    Nigel.

  • @subsystem8 lol nope, Paul Van Dyke is an idiot with a PC.

  • tangerine dream

    it's a music dream!

  • @larochea103 Nah, it's the Cannabis Cup winner mate...

  • Im smoking weed named after this band. This is pretty trippy

Dzienniku telewizyjnym.:))

  • @Nerwusek Ja pamiętam! Jakie bylo potem moje zdziwienie, kiedy zacząłem słuchać TD świadomie na poczatku lat 90-tych ;)

  • - Tangerine Dream is so underrated; released over a hundred albums the past four decades, too. smh.

  • I miss the sound of wow and flutter...beautiful

  • This music is so beautiful, has a calming effect, I love it!

  • I love the pre-digital electronic music. So much warmth in this sound... A characteristic warmth which can hardly be find in today's digital electronic music.

  • @spruceguitar

you should try Vladislav Delay or Arovane. Some of their tracks are close to what you described...

  • @spruceguitar

or Akira Rabelais or Kaisen might be good for you!

  • nice sound quality

  • @dinkeldal sinds 1975!!

  • deep shit

  • @f4wk33 yep 4sure =o

  • This is a great song!!!

  • @Nanachchbaubau I am sure I have my reasons for thinking what I do. Why would you disagree with something so wonderfully subjective as a person's taste in art...

  • was at the concert at preston guild hall 1975 my girlfiend said when do they sing har har //// still brilliant and i am a blackpool supporter and they play in tangerine

  • Geni.

  • this song is so..... ZzzZzzzZzzzZzzz

  • It's a pity the sound is not so good but it's great to see the video of them at work. The first part here is part 2 (or side 2) on the album. My 1976 vinyl version has just one man clapping at the beginning of part 2 but this has been edited out on the cd.

  • unglaublich dieses Zeitdokument.Elektronische Musik in den Geburtswehen

  • This album was the promise fulfilled of the electronic/computer music revolution that actually started at MIT in the late 1940s. This is what can be done to create incredible, almost-impossible-to-realize music. A masterpiece.

  • bostonmike1981 you are definitely an idiot grammar police chief.

Get a life instead of trying to ruin his beautiful comments. Loser.

  • learned to love them in late seventies/early eighties. My brother had four of their albums: stratosfear, encore, sorcerer and this one Ricochet. Still love their music from this time. I'm less impressed with their music on later albums.

  • 48 people don't feel the ambient's meanings.

  • General Zod at 3:22

  • The first time i ever heard Tangerine Dream ,was Near Dark, need i say more

  • my

  • FU DUDE!! Engish saved UR BUTT!! Remember WWII?

  • FU DUDE!! Engish saved UR ASS!! Remember WWII?

  • i can't believe they're playing moogfest! hopefully they'll be this good.

  • 48 people are jerks without a soul...

  • I think their work till late 70s was fine, but rest was like listening to Super Market music, no drama quite gay!

  • Pure pleasure !!! Polish friend in NA

  • The analog video effects are crazy! Take that, CGI.

  • This track is tailored for interstellar travel.

  • ii use 2 know a guy called tangarine...strange chap

  • I'm totally not high

  • The 1st time I heard this music I was 12 years old (1978). I would put the tape player under my pillow and drift into a deep sleep. Today, 33 years later, it still has that effect!

  • @CHUPAMEDIA41 real music, more than sound, feeling!

  • @CHUPAMEDIA41

really glad to read things like that ... :) music is the Language!

  • @hoptenon That is so true, music is a universal language. Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, all of theses artists have inspired me to compose music, which I do today. Check out my channel if you get a chance. Peace, Fergal

  • @CHUPAMEDIA41...!!!!! Exactly the same scene happened to me ! From a tape. A tape with "stratosfear" . Αnd think that I'm not the biggest fan of electronic music. Νice memories my friend.

  • The first time I heard this I was 12 (1977) I would listen to it every night on a TDK tape and put the tape player under my pillow and drift away in to a deep sleep. 33 years later it still has the same effect!

  • I climbed to the top of the highest mountain and I spread my wings and I jumped and I'm flying now listening to this magical and beautiful music which I've known for so many years now. Every time I listen to it It takes me far away from here, and it makes me feel at peace

  • Yes part one and two are split, from each other; but as you correctly surmise only one split is required.

  • i love this music.TD is unique.

is NOT like jean michelle jarre or kraftwerk.

TD is something special and older.

  • @Plexpara

    Older?

Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dreams first albums came out the same year(though tangerine dream was formed 3 years earlier).

So the bands Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk really aren't that different in terms of actually age, now if you mean the sound of their music I suppose I could understand that.

  • Comment removed

  • @Plexpara

Yes, I know, but 3 years isn't a particularly big difference.

"TD is something special and older."

Gives me the impression you mean it's like decades older, like comparing Lady Gaga to Michael Jackson, not like Pink Floyd to the Beatles.

And yes, I know they're different, I was just thinking you meant that tangerine dream was much older than Kraftwerk.

Not trying to start a flame war, just miscommunication.

I got ears too, and I think both deserve much praise for their own styles.

  • malaaaaaaaka mou.

  • @morison21 "malaka", is that what I think it is? I spent over a year in Greece and Greeks use this word to..., well let's not go there

  • malakaaaaaaaa mou.

  • septimussignum

  • het nooit overtroffen meesterwerk van TD..

  • if i remember correctly, some of those synthesizers were used by NASA in their Apollo space program

  • Here is an interesting retro song and video. TD paved the way for many american listeners to electronic sounds.

  • For me TD went downhill after this

  • Geez, no wonder! They're German!

  • Great music. I was just wondering how much of it was influenced by the by psychedelic drugs.

  • @farfa15 all??

  • ASTAL ASTRAL GIVE ME ASTRAL GREAT AND MANY THANKS.. MY EARLY YEARS IN MAGICK

  • I miss some bassline in this :(

  • @qwq45 It's people like you that cause people like everyone else in the world to hate us. Not all Americans are pricks like this guy! I welcome all my brothers and sisters of the world to share in this and all music.

But as for the music, I think it's cool and innovative but I'm not a huge fan...

  • lol, this song is thrown in a tyDi mix someone made and ive been listening to... random MUSHROOM trip!

  • i domt know why,but i love this..

  • what is this and why is it in a flux pavillion mix and why dont i mind

  • great intro piece, love it!

  • co za asy

  • You think they'd do a spell check of their own name 0:03

  • Ricochet is one of the greatest Tangerine Dream albums!

  • once upon a time there was a great music. times have really changed.

  • @kimranchik If you look no further than what's on radio and tv, yes. But there's more than enough contemporary music which you can sink your teeth in, if you look in the right places. So much even that I can barely keep up with all the great doom metal/black metal/psytrance/chillout records coming out. For example: /watch?v=Cj_P2UcWPUI

But of course, nothing really compares to the classics.

  • lol he has some rad equips

  • I was actually at this gig. Coventry Cathedral. It was something like £1:32 a ticket which I bought from a little corner shop called Virgin Records in Cov. Happy days

  • @Marty01Mcfly

My sentiments exactly. Good to hear somebody else say it...

  • epic. we must transmit this music to outer space, if there any civilization to listen to it.-

  • the sound of this video is too bad ! too much wow, the music is cut in the middles, and the pictures are not of the sound : that's a pure shit ! although I love Tangerine Dream ! You must respect such a masterpiece !

  • im left with nostalgia and chills listening to this.... I'm much to young for that too

  • You know the music is good when people say that they are a "spiritual influence".

  • this music isounds like suicide. i mean -me like it!.:)

  • ..now this is the stuff that laser light shows were made of..thank u for the flashback, pezzipez.. =D

  • my skin is shimmering !!

  • It's always funny how assholes complaining about people not using English can neither write nor spell their own language :)

  • @styx49 I think you mean "they're," jk.

  • @styx49

    Yes, ironic

  • @bostonmike1981

no it isn't, my friend, check a grammar book :)

  • @bostonmike1981 no it is not - it is two complementary ideas in the negative form

  • @styx49 issue like this can wrote just american seflfish cunt which can`t speak other languages than own origin ,also don`t understand cause sneaky worn in his brain. More respect to others , English is fourth spoken langauge on the Earth . Time to get lessons : simonkzww wrote " OMG , is not real !!! Music from Space and from inside the Earth" Best greets

  • @styx49 LOL! So true!

  • ok

  • Yeah, folks, I really like (should I say "love"? Why not?) TD. They really play Good Music. Baumann, Froese and Franke... The best formation till today... But Schmoeling was fantastic during his time in TD. "Ricochet" still sounds mysterious, oniric, dreammy or something like today. Amazing. Why? Because no PC based instrument, guitar or anything else can go beyond human mind. And they were a power trio. They really rocked music. Walls of music. Electronic, rock or prog. Congratulations...

  • By looking at the comments here, the relaxing sound of the music of Tangerine Dream really works.

Greetings from Antwerp and peace brothers and sisters on you all.

  • @begijnenstraat nico?

  • @qwq45... You made the translation! I master so you won't even understand a word of it! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • @aljoshabre but this idiot, is too base to realize that. that was rude to the person who uploaded this video. not surprising, this person who has no self respect will not have any for others. shows what type of low and grimy society he comes from.

  • @qwq45 : Internet has no soil! Look up the translation for this dutch word : "EZEL"

  • @exoterrestrial this idiot even knows that he should post in english.

  • @qwq45 Consider this alternative to your assumption of hypocrisy. Your comment assumes "violent" words are against "hippy" ideals, and that all condemnation comes from a lack of tranquility.

Neither of these assumptions is necessary. A person can condemn perceived destruction or unpleasantness without forsaking tranquility, and the "violence" of words is physically harmless.

For pacifists, potent (emotionally disturbing) rhetoric is superior to physical harm to induce progress.

  • i cant tell if youre trolling or not

you sound like an idiot though,

    deuche

  • no wonder liberal hypocrites listen to this band. isnt this bands music about peace and tranquility.but they write the music for a violent horror movie. rather hypocritical and contradictory of them, wouldnt you say. a perfect match for aging hippies, now under the moniker, liberals.

  • @qwq45

    successful troll is successful

  • @Kurokiii I KNOW IM GOOD AT HUMILIATING IDIOTS. YOU WERENT EVEN ABLE TO REPLY. WHAT WAS THAT. WAS THAT THE LAST REPLY YOU RECEIVED FROM A ADOLESCENT . IT HUMILIATED YOU, SO YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD ONE TO LIFT. THERES MANY PROBLEMS WITH THAT. BUT ILL SAY 1. YOURE AN INSECURE, AWKWAED DEPENDENT. THATS WHY IT WORKED SO WELL ON YOU. BUT MEANS NOTHING TO ME. AND ONCE AGA
