Thanks for the video Man!... I made exactly the same to mine, the only difference is a cut only 2 inches (5 cms) instead of 7. It was a first shot and I think it sound really better and didn't lost any kind of performance so far (didn't test it in the freeway yet, but I did a good 5 mile trip in the city). Your video encouraged me to do so... so Thanks!... I added my own first video as reply to this... (mine it's at night so it's dark I'll try to upload one in daylight).
I moved into a place lacated in a higher altitude, so I think it re-jetted itself automatically to this altitude because everything is working even better than before. My Honda delivers more power, better sound and I am really happy about it. I recommend you guys to do this.
Hello scoyboy, the sound on the road is really cool and powerfull. It seems to come out from a larger engine. I decided to cut only 7 inches because that way a part of the muffler stayed there (the wide part) and it helps to give some acoustic to the sound. So the sound is not too dry but has real good body. A little bass I can feel.
All I did was cut 7 inches and that´s it, no more things done. I think it was a perfect cut because the sound came out real good. Any more questions are welcome.
i have an 2001 rebel an im wanting better sound like most guys do but im trying to find the best soud. ive had people cut the exaust like half way it sounds n idles good but i havn't heard it on the road yet. and you say u cut off just 7 inches but they look like they have a slant to them? did u do a tuch up? sorry im just really needing all info that i can get please and thank you..
Hello McKaysMinecraft, I did remove everithing out from the inside so the air comes out freely what makes it sound nice and crispy.
Hi ffces153, I just cut it manually using a blade. It was a brand new one though, that`s why it came out really good. Thanks for the "clean" adjective :)

What did you use to have that "clean" cut?
ffces153 9 months ago
did you leave the baffles in or did you remove them?
