You have to remember this is only a test video of one of theese guns firing and it is in fact the most accurate arty weapon we have they test fired a 155 howitzer on the same target and had a margin of error of between 150 and 350 ft. What you have to imagine is in the field there will not be just one of theese firing there will be 3 to 4 firing at the same spot and 4 of them hitiing within 25ft of the target is gonna get results

Does anyone know the actual speed of this projectile? As on Quest's Future Weapon's program, they said a target that was 22 miles away was blown up 2 mins after firing at the Yuma Test Ground. These depend a lot on current weather conditions and gun care. 10,000mph would mean 22miles would be less than 5 seconds. 40,000 is the max range of a projectile from an M777. 2 minutes is about right, I remember something like 96 seconds being the longest flight time, but I'm probably off. Been a few years since I looked at the FT.

This is the video of them testing the projectilve...thus the XM982. The Excalibur is now the M982 b/c it has been fielded in the military. It can hit its target w/in 3 meters and has an effective casualty radius of 50 meters. That's all I know as everything else is classified.
The reason why you don't see the glass on the cars breaking is because windshields are designed to not shatter at all, you might see lots of small holes though.
Side shields on the other hand are designed to shatter to allow a person to escape, so I'm not sure whats going on here.

That is called an Air-burst Round, the it has many smart computers and gps built into it, so it knows when to "air-burst." military designed it so that it kills the enemy but with minimal structural Damage, or collateral damage

This is the video of them testing the projectilve...thus the XM982. The Excalibur is now the M982 b/c it has been fielded in the military. It can hit its target w/in 3 meters and has an effective casualty radius of 50 meters. That's all I know as everything else is classified.

The reason why you don't see the glass on the cars breaking is because windshields are designed to not shatter at all, you might see lots of small holes though.
Side shields on the other hand are designed to shatter to allow a person to escape, so I'm not sure whats going on here.
Can anyone provide insights?
Or is it that side shields only break with proper footkicks, not by high speed pellets?

This round can carry various payloads with different strike characteristics.
As for this video, if you were anywhere near the detonation site of that shell you'd be dead. The shockwave would essentially bludgeon you to death, inside and out.

Every nation on Earth that fields modern artillery units utilizes multiple payload options. some are anti-vehicle, some are anti-structural, some are anti-personnel (like this), some are even anti-aircraft. The majority of soldiers are NOT going to be in vehicles so wide area anti-personnel rounds are necessary. Whatever grudge you have is misplaced, the US military doesn't attack civilian crowds.

And that in itself, while tragic, is nothing unique to US military activity. The North and South Korean armies were doing the same things themselves.
The United States has, in the vast majority of its overseas operations, used far more discretion and precision than most.
This should be evident in that US soldiers this very day are bogged down in urban combat when it's well within the military's power to simply carpet bomb entire cities.

My advice to you is go to Google and type in, "us debt doesn't matter" in the search bar and just read about whats going on. You might be very surprised. Well now with the miniaturization of electronic components, more explosive power and the computational power, i have no doubt that there is a Tactical device stored (Just in case).
I know that the first Tactical Nuke was fired from a 280mm canon back in the test age.
