dude learn something about programming before you bash people. it's called old technology and a 'for'/'while' loop, it's how older programs kept track of time. with this method tho you sacrifice some accuracy with regard to actual time, so that is compensated with other constant integer/float values. duh.

I'm european, You can't jump to 8th level with 2 whistles if you use them on level 1. Just on level 2. i don't ming about the saves, but that emulator has a speed hack:( no funny at all=\ I want to see them playing on a NES, not on emulators

i dont mean to be rude but the fact that its a TOOL ASSISTED run is the definition of NOT LEGIT. legit means using the original game, now slow downs or anything, i figure using gliches in the game is ok; but not if you had to write an app to take advantage of the glich
This is the Japanese Version of SMB3. Not too far off from the USA version of SMB3. He did however use a luck manipulator on the game and a jump height hack to manipulate the height of jumps a little, as well as to reduce the number of enemies per level.
Nice overall vid showing some slight tricks, but overall I wouldn't consider this a legit Time Attack since he's used h4ck5.

It has been done using a game emulator, which allows the use of quicksave. Heck, you can even lower the game speed if you like
