Not to hate sir. I totally agree on everything as far as throttle control, except hitting the gas full throttle before you hit the ground. You are very experienced with RC's, and should know that is a great way to blow the differentials, spur, and or pinion gears. Again not being rude sir, just explaining from bad experience. and what brand for my Caldera that little bit of give in adjustment makes all the difference for stress on my Driveline and motor. The direct line is nice but it does put alot of stress on the drive line. and if i remember correctly i beleave its Team Associated makes the steel pinion gear that will match the mesh for the Caldera 10E. the pitch in other brands is a 32pitch gear.

I like Redcats vehicles, I own one myself now... But I have seen Hpi 1/5ths do stuff Redcats couldn't. Not bashing the brand either... just stating that Redcats arnt any better then Hpi.
