@missjj1280 I used Zig Memory Markers by EK Success. You can use pretty much any markers that aren't an alcohol or solvent based marker, so no Copics or Sharpies. But if you have EK Success markers or Stampin' Up markers or anything like those, you should be good to go!

Your mini is absolutely fantastic! I was wondering how you get the photos the 3x 41/2 size? Do you have a printer or send them out to be printed I also feel that is the perfect size for mini albums.
@rrdismuke I use Photoshop Elements 8 to re-size the photos and make them all 3"x4.5" for the book. I printed them at home on my Epson Stylus Photo R1900 photo printer. If you don't have Photoshop or a photo printer at home, you can get a similar look from a free program called "Photosheet" which was developed to help people put two or more photos on a 4"x6" print so they could get smaller photos from print labs. Just google "Photosheet" and it will be the first site that comes up.
@stampyra I love a fat mini! I don't really know how to make a skinny mini, but that's okay. Sometimes less is just less ~ lol! So glad you had a good time watching it come together! :D

@kayluvs2scrap Aw, you're so welcome, Kay! I didn't have all the photos I needed for the stories I wanted to tell, so I got a few of them online. They represented things that I wanted to include. For example, we didn't have any pictures from baseball games, but I wanted to talk about that so I downloaded a photo of a baseball and a photo of a stadium.

@afallas72 Anna, if you can find a scrapbook store that will fly me out, I will totally come teach a class! :D That would be so fun! I love my photo printer. It makes such nice prints ~ way better than the stores. It's the Epson R1900 which is an older version of the current model, the Epson R2000.

I have been planning this album in my head for years & working on it since February, so I wanted to get all the stories in. It was such a wonderful trip down memory lane! Kathryn your mini's always turn out so nice...not too over or under done. And you always show them with photos and journaling which is rare on yt. Thanks for sharing them with us. Can you tell me what printer you use for your photos? they look so good! so nice that someone in your family was a photo taker. @Scrappinology Thanks, Gina! I'm sorry to read about your photos. My mom was the photographer in the family. Her grandfather was a professional photographer, so always had an appreciation for photos. I use the Epson R1900 Stylus Photo printer. Epson replaced it with the R2000. Reviews on the R2000 are just as good or better than the R1900, so it looks like a solid replacement. I like the R1900 because it prints 12"x12" so I can also use it for photo strips on my layouts.
