i am not honest. i am Native. But i don't share endless respect and love for every tribe... i grew up with lots of natives around and i wanna tell ya, nothing in life can fascinate me less, that our culture and our pride.... stay alive. Thanks for this wonderfull song. and many hugs and love from a native Person, who is native, but thinks non-native in her heart...

This is the first round dance song I can ever remember hearing. It reminds me of my mother, she had to go back and forth from the states to Canada for school. We lost her in '03 and this song brings her back like she's sittin next to me, hollerin to get my ass to bed! Lol.

for the record im a white protestant and i find this music your people and tradation amazing,it doesnt matter what colour or race any of us on this planet are we all came from the same place from the same creator so we are all brothers and sisters of this planet wither u like it or not its fact, and the sooner we can learn 2 live with each other and respect each other the better, but im sorry that will never happen 2 many blind bitter people will see 2 that
Purnative, I am sorry about the loss of your brother. Enjoyed the video but was saddened by some of the racist comments folks have made. Racism breeds racism. Stereotyping one culture only provides others with a licence to do the same. Hate feeds on hate.
@noclovishere1 i agree im a white protestant and and proud of it and found the 2nd voted up comment very racist just becasue there a few idito white racisits doesnt mean we are all the same, and the fact that 52 people gave it a thumbs up doesnt really say much for them either,i grew up in belfast 15years of my child hood dodging bombs and bullets because of my religon, pathetic

my little bro sang this song to my mother in her ear as he was waiting at the base to leave for the war, six months later he died serving this country and one of his fella warriors told my ma at his last breath he was singing this song again hoping for our mother to hear his voice one last time
he died a hero in peoples eyes, but in my eyes he died a true ndn warrior Air Born Ranger great song will be with me until I see my little brother again,
@purnative1 im sorry to hear of ur brother but i read dat nd he did die a true ndn warrior its good to see our native ppls havent for gotten our way A'ho
@purnative1 that was touching... sorry for your loss.... ur bro's not only a true warrior but also a warrior with a heart he gave his last breath to sing a song hope'n for his mother to hear him.
@purnative1 WHAT A GREAT WARRIOR in life & still stands strong forever. GOOD STORY, how proud you must be. MANY BLESSING TO YOUR FAMILY Forever. DEBRA Rincon Lopez in Portland Oregon USA.
@purnative1 sad 2 hear,my dad served korea for this country, he came home a changed person, had bad dreams and fought 4 us just as ur lil bro, we will all meet again in the after life, luv ur life and those around u, never give up no matter what this country throws at us, we r native we will always b here unnoticed to the white world, keep ur head up and heart strong for u and loved ones!peace 2 all natives who lost a loved one!
@purnative1 awwww, that made me tear up. Just know he died protecting the land of our elders, and you will be with him again, powwowing it up in heaven (:
Chukma Yakoke` for sharing that ! you and your family will be in my prayers!
Our whole family loves this song. Reminds us of my uncle Bob & when we all traveled to from Canada to Arizona during Summer powwow trail. Good memories...RIP Uncle Bob
love it! simply love it....did you know that if all natives can together as one nation we could make a change in this world we currently live in? dont carry hate in your heart its just a waste of time...
IAM A 29 YEARS OLD BEEN ON THE WAR PATH FIGHTING THE WHITE MAN OPPREESSION KIYUSKA BAND THE ONES THAT FOUGHT THOSE WHITE BASTARD TO THE DEATH NOT THOSE FAKE ASS PINE RIDGE LOAFERS KISSING THE WHITE MAN COCK FOR THE HARD TACT AND MOLDY BLANKETS FUCK ALL YOU SELL OUT FUCK RED CLOUDS BULL BEAR NATION
actually to set everybody striaght on here my uncle peter trottier from kehewin was the one who wrote this song and gave it to my other uncle maqua from the red-bull singers. quinton tootosis. so this song was writin by my uncle. way back in the day to memorate one of the ladies he lost in the usa
@dufusjunior if a white american thinks he is anglo-saxon hes not. hes white american. Anglo-saxon is in my blood, going back before Hastings as is the norse side of my family. Love to the Native americans, the real americans.
@dufusjunior This reminds me of being with my family and community. It symbolises power and esteem. I'm certain there are some folks out there that don't much care for this music and it's there right. Personally, I'm not fond of hymns, country music (particularly the line dancing bullshit) and rap (rap's like fucking AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL) but I have cousins who identify with the shit and well, that's fine by me.
@dufusjunior PS I'm almost certain the fair skinned, anglo, saxon P's out there are few and far between and have better things to do than troll on youtube like you and i:) (watch the clip from smoke signals about john wayne's teeth and maybe you'll loosen up.
@dufusjunior whoa there buddy :) my ancestors were european and, yeah, im about the whitest person you'll ever talk to on youtube haha, but i love this music and culture. So... lets not try to generalize ok?
@dufusjunior LOL i love going to the KK rallies there chating white pride and i'm Yelling Native Pride the white race in my book is a joke they took the land that was give'n to us to take care of and look wut they did with it
true that....mess with mother nature you will probly get kill like the earthqake in japan they messed with mother nature........ but still sorry for them :(
Many times I have played this song coming across the line that some how separates the place you call countries,My Heart heavy from new friendships and new found Loves and not always the Heart kind,Just A Cree Man with his little Cree Heart
hmm redbull. edmund bull good man one of pat kennedy's friends they sound good wen they sang with pat. you are damn good. much respect to the bull family and all the people from sask the best singers come from sask . much love from ur fam from montana.

Love this song it was 1 of the first songs i learned ,listening to all this pow-wow songs makes me want to go pow-wows n sing my heart out ,hard trying to get group back together again.but I sing here at home everyday for my kids .
I may only be Ute,Navajo, and Apatchie but no matter what tribe I am I'm proud. I have a lot of white blood in me but I am not ashamed of who I am I love being a Native American and I wouldn't Have it anyother way. I love Native American songs and I love singing them. They are my favorite out of all my songs now I just need them on my ipod and I'm all set. If you agree like this comment.
I love the red bull singers. I can understand being of mixed descent(metis first nations) and have fought all my life to try to fit in on both sides of the fence. Decided instead to create my own fence and walk right on the middle. Thank You to all my family on the red road. Hoka!!!

@dufusjunior if a white american thinks he is anglo-saxon hes not. hes white american. Anglo-saxon is in my blood, going back before Hastings as is the norse side of my family. Love to the Native americans, the real americans.
Hardrada88 11 months ago
@dufusjunior This reminds me of being with my family and community. It symbolises power and esteem. I'm certain there are some folks out there that don't much care for this music and it's there right. Personally, I'm not fond of hymns, country music (particularly the line dancing bullshit) and rap (rap's like fucking AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL) but I have cousins who identify with the shit and well, that's fine by me.
shelski72 11 months ago
@dufusjunior PS I'm almost certain the fair skinned, anglo, saxon P's out there are few and far between and have better things to do than troll on youtube like you and i:) (watch the clip from smoke signals about john wayne's teeth and maybe you'll loosen up.
shelski72 11 months ago 2
@dufusjunior whoa there buddy :) my ancestors were european and, yeah, im about the whitest person you'll ever talk to on youtube haha, but i love this music and culture. So... lets not try to generalize ok?
thanks

I have a lot of white blood in me but I am not ashamed of who I am I love being a Native American and I wouldn't Have it anyother way. I love Native American songs and I love singing them. They are my favorite out of all my songs now I just need them on my ipod and I'm all set. If you agree like this comment.

I love the red bull singers. I can understand being of mixed descent(metis first nations) and have fought all my life to try to fit in on both sides of the fence. Decided instead to create my own fence and walk right on the middle. Thank You to all my family on the red road. Hoka!!!
