Looks are subjective, not definite fact. Some guys like blondes, some like brunettes. Porsches look like volkswagens for cocksuckers but you don't see me bitching about it. I think the SSR is quite an interesting ride with a rather nice interior to match the exterior.
plain and simple ... the ssr failed because it costed more than a camaro, was slower and didnt look as good but for an elcamino pretty damn nice, and truthfully plenty of power and rear wheel drive is all you need =)

@tortillabadger I live in the GM capital of the US. I see the people who assemble many of these cars. They're a lot like the cars - ugly and slow. As far as the SSR goes, it was so popular and such a success, it was discontinued due to lack of interest. Trying to trade one in on a new GM has proven to be pretty funny too. The dealerships don't want anything to do with them. So you pay $40k and are offered $13 three years later. Some demand. Some investment. The proof is in the numbers. RIP GM.

Amen to that! Unfortunately mine's an automatic w/ 5.3 supercharged ('03). One thing though, those rear tires are hard to find - so I've heard - haven't needed to replace mine yet.
