Just because one researcher walks a mountain trail and doesn't see anything doesn't mean a forest has been 100% explored. People tend to stick to trails and commonly walked paths, animals only occationally enter these paths. Only when researchers look off the beaten path do they find the really unique creatures.

I saw an interesting document on National Geographics channel. Scientists got the original Patterson film from Pattersons widow. They measured the creature to be about 250 cm (8.2 ft.). Legs are relatively shorter than human legs so it excludes using of extended legs. They also notized perfect anatomy of the body/muscles, and compared it to human body. There was a significan difference which says it's hard to believe it's a suit. I cant say is this real or hoax but indeed interesting features.

Indians that live in the forest, and hunted bears and other animals, depended on their knowledge of those animals for survival. An indian that sees a bear would never claim it was a Bigfoot - plain & simple. The native peoples acknowledge the existence of Bigfoot. Let me ask you, when is the last time you lived among other animals in the wilderness?
Regarding the white feet, I will throw this into the mix: I suspect a primate who spends its life walking barefoot in the woods/mountains would have a very densely calloused sole, covered with thick highly keratinized epithelial tissue, which covers the melanocytes at the granulosum layer. Scratch your skin to notice a white line. Now imagine the entire surface of thick keratinocytes being constantly abraded by walking. Also, melanocytes are less where "the sun don't shine".
Actually, it's the other way around...quite obviously extremely depressing to the 'skeptics' that it is in fact a true living being they merely can't wrap their heads around possibly being real...
That is just overexposure of this particular clip or print. People are always on about her 'white feet', in actuality her soles have a lighter color because of the soil/wet mud stuck to her feet, same color as the ground. Couple that with the aforementioned overexposure on some prints you see, the age of the film, the fact that colors fade with time and that her skin (soles) might actually be of a much lighter tone, plus sun light hitting her... What do you get then - 'white', right. Simple.

You study Bigfoot feet too, farah? Every inch on Patty looks real to me, I see nothing suit-like about her at all, plus her longer torso pretty much seals the deal for me. The skeptics saying it's this 6ft guy BobH suited up are forgetting this, because if the figure is that size at least, then the body proportions don't match any known (hu)man's. That indicates to me she's probably even taller, her anatomy is what gives her away as real, couldn't reach a mask or those high shoulders/long arms.

how would i know? i study anatomy, so i know how the muscles of the feet work and how evolutionary adapted primates are and if you study any human, chimp, orangutan etc you can see a definitave pattern in both our hands and feet. how would they make a suit that looked like that? i dunno, maybe some fur, a gorilla mask, yes it looks divine but people can do and have done wonders with textiles for centuries now.

Patterson drew a female bigfoot with tits in his book before the footage was ever shot, he based his drawing on the Rowe encounter with a female bigfoot, he even took the picture out of the book when he re-released it after the footage was shot... They actually appear to have some kind of a language, it's gibberish to us, but according to vocal expert Steve Nelson (his interview on talkblogradio) it sounds almost Asian(!).
Their mannerisms are often described as very humanlike, it's merely the deceiving fact that they're hairy, that makes us think they're 'apes'. They seem almost afraid to hurt us, and always break off any bluff attack, or simply walk away. I'd sure like to know their exact level of intelligence, should be interesting to find out one day. Curious but kind gentle giants. Any advice would be to leave them be, not go after them with guns. You can't remove it anyway, and may feel hands in your neck...

also gorillas always knuckle-walk. their legs in proportion with their arms are very short. also tests have shown that some bigfoot tracks have a mid tarsal break, like great apes. human feet don't move like that, and would someone who was hoaxing people really research a costume to that level? the mid tarsal break is a hinge in the middle of great ape feet where the back of the foot flexes upwards when the leg is at the extreme back of a step.
And notice the size comparison of everything around here. If there was ever a Gorilla like that in an American forest, I would probably shit my regular drawers. I do have a theory on where it stands in the primate kingdom. There were remains of gigantic apes found in China, now extinct, known as "Gigantopithecus". As we know, there was once a land bridge between Russia and Alaska, which Native Americans came over. Maybe Bigfoot came over that as well, and went south to find a suitable climate.
And you can also clearly see here, how the make-up on the gorillas in the Planet of the Apes films, are based on real gorillas. Patty's head is not, she also has that typical hunched-over Bigfoot no-neck posture with (turning!) head set low. I can walk out the door in the morning and look down the hollow toward the ford and watch deer cross at least twice a week. I assume they are "in the wild" as you say since the farmers can't keep them out of the orchards and certainly would if they could. I would be hard pressed to describe a "typical" posture of a deer.

There are numerous compelling features that suggest the Patterson footage is real. This comparison is good. Also, look at the Snowwalker footage. This creature has the same posture, arm ratios and conformation. I also show why the claim that Bob H is the man in the Patterson footage is false due to locomotion differences. The mistake that Bob and Morris made was having him walk in that suit!! They should have left well enough alone. This proved that Bob H is not related to the Patterson film.
Judging by historic tales, they appear more human than ape. They're 'apes' with a mumbling language resembling a drunken hobo (if we are to believe the Morehead tapes, but why wouldn't they utter something), they also appear to be building huts with roofs, venture curiously close to human homes, throw stuff. Not all of this is like gorillas, orangutangs or chimps, but a so-far known human trait exclusively. Only when we find them will we know exactly, but my money's on some kind of 'people'.
There is no 'cased closed' on this case, the jury's still out - probably will be forever - but all the evidence is mightily in favor of Patty being the real deal. That body is a wonder of nature, IMO, deffo no suit. You'd have to be pretty naive not to (want to) see that. Most serious experts say so, only the armchair doctors think differently. People tend to stick to trails and commonly walked paths, animals only occationally enter these paths. Only when researchers look off the beaten path do they find the really unique creatures.

I saw an interesting document on National Geographics channel. Scientists got the original Patterson film from Pattersons widow. They measured the creature to be about 250 cm (8.2 ft.). Legs are relatively shorter than human legs so it excludes using of extended legs. They also notized perfect anatomy of the body/muscles, and compared it to human body. There was a significan difference which says it's hard to believe it's a suit. I cant say is this real or hoax but indeed interesting features.

Indians that live in the forest, and hunted bears and other animals, depended on their knowledge of those animals for survival. Regarding the white feet, I will throw this into the mix: I suspect a primate who spends its life walking barefoot in the woods/mountains would have a very densely calloused sole, covered with thick highly keratinized epithelial tissue, which covers the melanocytes at the granulosum layer. Scratch your skin to notice a white line. Now imagine the entire surface of thick keratinocytes being constantly abraded by walking. Also, melanocytes are less where "the sun don't shine".

That is just overexposure of this particular clip or print. People are always on about her 'white feet', in actuality her soles have a lighter color because of the soil/wet mud stuck to her feet, same color as the ground. Couple that with the aforementioned overexposure on some prints you see, the age of the film, the fact that colors fade with time and that her skin (soles) might actually be of a much lighter tone, plus sun light hitting her... What do you get then - 'white', right. Simple.

You study Bigfoot feet too, farah? Every inch on Patty looks real to me, I see nothing suit-like about her at all, plus her longer torso pretty much seals the deal for me. The skeptics saying it's this 6ft guy BobH suited up are forgetting this, because if the figure is that size at least, then the body proportions don't match any known (hu)man's. That indicates to me she's probably even taller, her anatomy is what gives her away as real, couldn't reach a mask or those high shoulders/long arms.

how would i know? i study anatomy, so i know how the muscles of the feet work and how evolutionary adapted primates are and if you study any human, chimp, orangutan etc you can see a definitave pattern in both our hands and feet. how would they make a suit that looked like that? i dunno, maybe some fur, a gorilla mask, yes it looks divine but people can do and have done wonders with textiles for centuries now.

2. Anatomists concluded it is physically impossible for a human to have this shoulder breadth & ankle movement.
3. Hundreds of similar sighting are still seen each year - not just this one
If it helps you sleep at night, then believe it's a costume, but the reality is that these creatures exist independent of belief.

If you've seen one, you're very fortunate, because they rarely allow themselves to be seen by certain people. My father's people are Iroquois indian - our tribe and many other tribes have seen the "Bigfoot" animal-people for centuries. Indians that live in the wilderness know more about its inhabitants than city dwellers can understand.

Exactly 211. The flat featureless leather soles of this ape costume was one of the earliest indicators that this thing was fake. Its the same leather soles we've all seen in dozens of ape costumes from cheapo B movies. This Patty costume is probably one we've seen on screen chasing the 3 Stooges or Abbott and Costello.

Exactly. Most of Patterson's drawings don't look like Patty or the Roe image. Most of Patterson's drawings of bigfoot look more like a cave man than a bipedal ape creature. 'Patty' looks very much like the Roe image. If Roe really saw a bigfoot then why wouldn't Patty look very similar to it? She would, and that's why Patty is unlike Roger's misinformed drawings. Have you seen Roger Patterson's drawings of the Albert Ostman encounter? They are nothing like Patty.

Their mannerisms are often described as very humanlike, it's merely the deceiving fact that they're hairy, that makes us think they're 'apes'. They seem almost afraid to hurt us, and always break off any bluff attack, or simply walk away. I'd sure like to know their exact level of intelligence, should be interesting to find out one day. also gorillas always knuckle-walk. their legs in proportion with their arms are very short. also tests have shown that some bigfoot tracks have a mid tarsal break, like great apes. human feet don't move like that, and would someone who was hoaxing people really research a costume to that level? the mid tarsal break is a hinge in the middle of great ape feet where the back of the foot flexes upwards when the leg is at the extreme back of a step.

I do have a theory on where it stands in the primate kingdom. There were remains of gigantic apes found in China, now extinct, known as "Gigantopithecus". As we know, there was once a land bridge between Russia and Alaska, which Native Americans came over. Maybe Bigfoot came over that as well, and went south to find a suitable climate.

I can walk out the door in the morning and look down the hollow toward the ford and watch deer cross at least twice a week. I assume they are "in the wild" as you say since the farmers can't keep them out of the orchards and certainly would if they could. I would be hard pressed to describe a "typical" posture of a deer.
Tell everyone how many sasquatches you have laid eyes on to be able to describe the posture as "typical". As Mr. Spock might say; "I find it illogical Captain".

Human or animal doesn't really matter to me ultimately, they are what they are and they're definitely there, that's the main important thing to me. One day we'll see and find out more, right now it's all just speculations.

Well, that's part of the mystery then isn't it? Longtime Biggy researcher Bobbie Short does not believe the Sas' to be an ape, but a type of human.
I personally disagree; in any case, we may just need to widen our definition of what an ape is a bit in order to include the Sasquatch.
Along those lines, I've read that some native tribes regarded them as a type of human, while others saw them as animals, and still others as interdimensional beings.

There are numerous compelling features that suggest the Patterson footage is real. This comparison is good. Also, look at the Snowwalker footage. This creature has the same posture, arm ratios and conformation. I also show why the claim that Bob H is the man in the Patterson footage is false due to locomotion differences. The mistake that Bob and Morris made was having him walk in that suit!! They should have left well enough alone. This proved that Bob H is not related to the Patterson film.

Judging by historic tales, they appear more human than ape. They're 'apes' with a mumbling language resembling a drunken hobo (if we are to believe the Morehead tapes, but why wouldn't they utter something), they also appear to be building huts with roofs, venture curiously close to human homes, throw stuff. Not all of this is like gorillas, orangutangs or chimps, but a so-far known human trait exclusively. Only when we find them will we know exactly, but my money's on some kind of 'people'.

There is no 'cased closed' on this case, the jury's still out - probably will be forever - but all the evidence is mightily in favor of Patty being the real deal. That body is a wonder of nature, IMO, deffo no suit. You'd have to be pretty naive not to (want to) see that. Most serious experts say so, only the armchair doctors think differently. Live in sheltered denial if it makes you happier, heather, but you couldn't be more wrong. Inadvertently you also help them by being ignorant. :)

This film has withstood 40+ years of intense scrutiny from scientists,photography experts,special effects wizards etc. and no one has been able to duplicate the suit with TODAYS material and technology,much less what was available in 67! This is the real deal folks. I know some dont want to believe it because it messes with their religion and long held belief system but sasquatch exist folks.

I have a religous friend (I'm not)that asked me one day, that if a Sasquatch was every found, if I believed that this would prove evolution, and thus crumble all religous beliefs the world over. I told him that it was my belief that these were apes....not in the human family at all...

You could say there's no way I'm human, case closed, but saying so doesn't add anything to the argument. Have you seen the gif file with the guy claiming to be the man in the suit? It superimposes him walking and it seems an exact fit. I don't know why there's folk looking into deep technical stuff of anatomy, it's there in black and white for all to see.

Yeah...his name is Bob Heironimus! Just type his name into youtube, and see his montage od stills in his new suit! He is wearing a suit that was made by Philip Morris, who claims to have made the original suit! Same guy, in a suit made by the original suit-maker! One has to wonder though...why do we only get a 'montage' of blurry stills? Why does the new suit look so laughable?? It has NO resemblance to the Patterson subject! And THAT is 'case closed'!!
