used to do allot of two man roams , one rails tackle ranis and one blaster damage...loads of fun to be had.... + before the scram overheat patches rails ranis could be chased by loads and win... havnt found a setup though that work since ther changes... :(
im also going to try bribing ****** to get me a kil2 corpse for the collection ... :) can we put corpses into station walk throughs yet? ... oh boy ^^
Your experience in frig pvp mirrors mine exactly. I'd fly out in a Taranis looking for trouble and come aross no viable fights and fly back disheartened.
Also, don't worry about video's being short or only containing a small number of examples on what you are trying to show, not all of us have time for massively long video's these days and getting a point made over 4 smaller video's will often sink in better than 4 examples in a single large video.
I wonder how many fight you are getting because you are Kil2 ;-). I mean you are like a EvE Online celebrity. People might take a fight because its you and want you on a KM or be on 1 of your vids. I don't know this of course, I am only guessing, it something that comes up in my mind. Thanks for the vid and the wonderful commentary gain.
@Odium47 Well not really. He failed because the frigate was orbiting him too closely for his guns to track it . Tornados are designed to keep range and fight. I a smaller, faster ship gets to close, as in this case, the Tornado is screwed. Kil2 is correct. The other 2 Tornado pilots went after the /'Ranis like they were flying canes. You want to do the oppisite in a Tornado, Keep range and blast away....
du1987de - Generally pirates are over confident and/or dumb. This can really work to your advantage if you can get them were you need them.
I can assure you Kil2 will die alot when he's out and about finding decent fights. You just have to reship and get back out there. I kicked some Tusker ass the other day thought he could kite my Drake yet got in oh'd web range.
@Gingerlord1st I actually tend to find the opposite, to me pirates generally seem more cautious than the average 0.0 pvper. However, I do think that people are still learning what the tier3 BCs can do and that process leads to some errors. I have personally overestimated the tank a few times myself and gotten killed, just expecting that I would have more time before things got ugly. In this case he probably figured the scimi would make it there to help out with time to spare, oops.
@jampyzero Hera Darkthorne has the Talos and Tornado pretty well figured out. Basically hangs around fleet ops and picks off everyone that burns to try and get tackle, even Interceptors. People will burn straight at a tier 3 that is sat 200km km off the gate, all they do is turn tail, burn in the opposite direction and blap stuff in a couple of volleys. I have no large gunnery skills at the moment so I am pretty much confined to sub-battleship combat with Missiles, Lasers and Projectiles.
Just looking at the speed on the fitting 7.8km/s. Is it using a full set of snakes and a boosting loki with the MWD overheated? If so would this ship be nearly as effective without? Good flying though and epic fail on the part of the Tornado gang, for some reason everyone I come to fight always seems to be competant. I want to know where you find these morons so I can get some KMs too =)
before I quit eve I loved the taranis for me it was a decent giant killer all the hacs and some recons where viable targets and it could dog fight with the assaultships and other cepters you just have to get over the fact that if you didnt take hull damage the fight was too easy :)

@du1987de It says 7.8km/s because both the afterburner and the MWD are turned on at the same time in PYFA, which is buggy as hell.

before I quit eve I loved the taranis for me it was a decent giant killer all the hacs and some recons where viable targets and it could dog fight with the assaultships and other cepters you just have to get over the fact that if you didnt take hull damage the fight was too easy :)
