The first old NYC HC band I heard in high school that made me realize the old stuff was way better than the sXe stuff at the time. The sXe bands were good musically but they turned the scene into a preppy/jockish thing, for example YOT and GB. Nike high tops and no shirts with mad tattoos. Blah!!!
We're doing it again Dec. 6, 2008 @ The Knitting Factory in New York...Come Skank the night away Urban Waste style....and over 20 other old school bands will be there too!!!
