What I got was different ideas that exude different emotions and what I felt as I thought of each - the one was about a friend going to get an abortion --- etc... It was hard to understand but I think they put it in the computer voice so it is standard to allow the person to feel freely without being pushed into one emotion or another - being able to decide for yourself - just my opinion

If the person's eye u are seeing is a person and not an android u should be able to p/u their emotion. The voice in the back is giving various scenarios meant to trigger emotion. ur job is to test urself on whether or not ur sensing the emotion meant to be triggered and whether or not u sensed it from an android or a human. if u sensed it from an android, ur probably not an empath. Philip k dick Android looks pretty real. good job!

The Empath simply has a far superior understanding of emotions and can decipher the emotions that others might not want them to see.

I might be wrong but from what I learned, empathy isn't spiritual. It is merely being able to pick up on emotions that others might not sense as clearly. Also, it isn't a psychic skill, for those who don't understand it that well. When they say "sense", they don't mean reading their minds. That would be Telepathy which is psychic. What they mean is simply understanding and reflecting the emotions being portrayed by others.

I just recently found out I am an Empath like 3 days ago. I have always as a kid been aware of people's emotions and have always acted based on their emotions. (I act in manners that have positive outcomes.) I can sense when someone is hurt and when someone is happy and I always seemed to be the one that wants to help out others to the best of my ability and if I don't succeed, I feel bad that I failed the person I try to help.

@nlouisea I see empathy as an interpretation of personal experience & assessing the subject via the frequency they are releasing & personal expression. So a vibration is present. This works very similar to precognition & Clairvoyant abilities. The problem with sharing predictions is that when you awake from a predeterminating vision, it begins to mumble the message as you are forced into the real world. So it is calculated unconsciously in most scenarios, as opposed to shared with others.

Being an empath and having tried to get rid of my "abilities" for years (and not succeeding), I know firsthand that it's something that comes naturally. Even via email I could feel people's emotions pulsing off in waves. But lots of people can learn the basics of tapping into the human mind. It just takes a lot more concentration for those who aren't "sensitive." In my opinion, though, no one should try this stuff; I've always hated being an empath because I've always known too much...

not all people have the empath ability. I always had it but never knew exactly why or how I was able to feel people emotions and thoughts even through text. But one major thing I also notice, is the more spiritual I become, the stronger my abilities grow and open to other spiritual gifts. blessings to you

@TasmiaVictoria I agree with U. U become more conscious. Empaths can be also sensitive to spiritual energies. We, human beings are energy trapped in a skin. What we sense is what comes from inside out. Why is so impossible for some to believe some people to sense this same energies already in a superior level of consciousness?

i dont think it can be learned. some people are just born more sensitive than normal humans. the best you can do i suppose is familiarize yourself with body language and become a good listener.
