Not the best place to be against Zangief, I know, but I've yet to see anyone who doesn't just spam lariat/buffer SPDs while in mid-air, so he's not impossible.

6:03 where he cancels a dragon punch and gets major props, only to have Chun counter with a 6 hit combo that doesn't even get mentioned.

Good commentators can set aside personal fanboyism to give a fair match evaluation.

Like I said, good commentating is *without bias*, that goes for any competition. When you feel like you're listening to the cheering section for one player/team, credibility and value are lost.

This is a casual tournament. the commentators, and the players ALL know each other personally. No one here is trying to adhere to what "sports commentary" should be anyway. If we had some out-of-towners playing, then yeah we obviously would have been fair allaround.

As far as "commentary bias" goes- we're doing it ON PURPOSE. Everyone just loves to love Ed, and we'all wail on Kai because its funny. In the end, we're all friends. If you played here, youd understand. We're very casual here.
