The clutch on the Evo hold's a while if the car is stock, but one's you increase the horse power the clutch wears out really fast. My stock clutch was good for about 12,000 miles.
Well, actually it does now. In that video the car only had 330hp at the wheels, that was a long time ago. Now the car has 571hp at the wheels and ran a 10.2@141mph on the 1/4 mile. You cant go launching the car like this so recklessly on dry pavement because with this kind of power it breaks the transfer's with quite ease. If you own an evo, you know what im talking about..

I have owned both, the evo and the sti. I can honestly say that stock and modded the evo still runs faster times than the sti. With simple mods I ran 11.89@115mph(1/4mile) on the evo and with the same mods I ran 12.8@106mph on the sti. Enough said :)
i would expect AWD car, to launch good and see how good it launches when its dry. look up sti launch. thats a real awd car launching. 1.6 60ft's stock not 1.8's-2.0's on evos
except evo's have a faster stock vs stock 1/4 mile, and when you get into the modding game the Evo ownes the STi hard. i own both an evo, an STi and the evo is much faster, much more reliable, and all around a better built car. more bang for the buck.

i would expect AWD car, to launch good and see how good it launches when its dry. look up sti launch. thats a real awd car launching. 1.6 60ft's stock not 1.8's-2.0's on evos

except evo's have a faster stock vs stock 1/4 mile, and when you get into the modding game the Evo ownes the STi hard. i own both an evo, an STi and the evo is much faster, much more reliable, and all around a better built car. more bang for the buck.

LOL look at the new evo. that car blows dick. i know someone who bought one and got beat by a stock 350z so he traded it in for a neon srt4 LMAO, shows u how shitty EVOS have become. im not gonna lie EVO 8s and 9s are nice cars, and yes they are cheaper to make faster. but they are more expensive to purchase new vs Sti's

Yes, it is water, otherwise the car would just jump foward too hard. It does have 18x8.5 wheels with TOYO T1R tires.
