The average human lives approx 25,000 days. On the low end 15,000 days and on the high end 35,000 days. About 4,500 of those days are spent in school, meaning you have about 20,500 days to make a difference. In retrospect, thats not much time, so every day you're not helping someone in need, standing up for the weak, or just bringing a smile to someones face is a day you've wasted for good. So go out and do good for the world because when you die the only thing you leave behind is your legacy.
And yet 98% of people who hear that song will not learn the lesson it has to offer. It's sad that no matter how many of us try to teach others what we know, you really never can learn how to cherish life without first tasting death.
I say this has someone who has faced trauma after walking the line between life and death myself. I find myself thinking every single day about how life can end at any moment, yet many of you will take life for granted until the very end.
