How to Open DDS files in photoshop

If i remember correctly there is an installer, install it to the Photoshop directory

@wweconnor make sure you're on google.COM if you want to get the same search results. I generally use google.SE and I the hits on google were not the same. (this might be a bit late and irrelevant, but others may bump into the same problem)

just a quick question, im trying to edit skins from MW2 and i cant open the .dds file in photoshop, it changes to a new psd instead. but my iwi to dds converter could be the problem... and its a portable photoshop, but i did install the same file you downloaded correctly. thanks

You can always try a dds converter that does not associate itself with photoshop,Ther a a few out ther just do some searching,they will convert the dds to whatever,then you can open it in photoshop,this program simply takes out the extra steps.
