Time (Clock Of The Heart) belongs to my CC top 5 list of tracks: So painfully beautiful, accompanied by Boy George's truly spellbinding, nasal voice which could turn any ordinary pop song to an amazing ditto back in the 80s. Today, more than 25 years later, I still haven't heard any singer sounding like him!
That could be coke actually, when u snort it affects the sound of your voice, but I'm not sure because his voice could actually be tired, I'm not sure at what point his drug issues started, all I know is I LOVE Boy George good, bad or indifferent.
@Not4Games I think he started doing drugs just before the band break up which is in the 1986.. after his heroine addiction that's when he started cocaine... he must be tired from singing
It's obvious from Jon's body language near the end of the video that he didn't reciprocate George's proximity to him on the stage. I've watched and read a few records before, and my understanding of their case is that Jon always considered George as business and very little else. I've seen many 'being in love cues' from George, even under composure under the public eye, but never any from Jon.
You know nothing. How can you tell how someone feels from a video. Not everyone expresses their love in public or does public displays of affection.I have talked to someone who knows Jon personally and he says Jon still talks about George to this day and cared for him a lot. So don't talk about something you have no personal knowledge of from some stupid video.
I commented on body language in that (stupid?) video, but not just on it! Jon has a very rational mind and George, in his glory days showed self expression through performing art and connectiveness to his partner. One can't miss George's euforia and muse which accopmpanied that stage, but his songs also show uncertainty and panic about genuiness of the love he was receiving.
@fiona333 IF YOU pay attention to George a lot of his songs WERE directed to Jon because they did have a relationship and George even says it in his book. Also pay attention how he turns to Jon a lot during certain songs so I agree with you a little and disagree with you a lot cause George is a very emotional person and admits it to this day. Pay attention to him standing behind Jon at the end....nuff said.
isso é muito bomm grande boy

Backing singers way too loud, ruining this otherwise perfect live version by George.

I had forgotten why 1980s music sucked. I'm reminded again. Ugh....

Great performance. I think it difficult singing live and it take lots of energy. They try not to make any mistake. I give them lots of credit.
