  • would this be a good guitar for mainly playing pop punk?

  • Sounds super awesome. Love that twang.

  • Nice gtr! More Squier review would be great

  • awesome gtr

  • i love the vm line!!! i have one from 2007 at home in olympic white!!! and i'm seriously thinking of getting one of these i hope the pickups can cope with the distortion i use cause i'm into punk... either way i guess i could always mod it... the vm line is begging for a vintage modified jazzmaster (in a classic design and probably with a h/h configuration) and a 72 tele deluxe

  • @ralfcaetano I have the jazzmaster and love it, the only thing it doesn't have is the tremolo and switches which can be modded in. I know the jaguars have the routing for all the switches and wheels of the standard models so I wouldn't be surprised to peel up the guard on mine and see the room for the switches on a standard jazzmaster. Also Squier came out with the J Mascis Jazzmaster and it looks pretty sick.

  • @Igamikun yeah i like the j mascis one but i don't really like the vintage modified guitar... i tried one out it sounds amazing but when i'm looking for a guitar it has to be THE guitar so it needs to look good play comfortably and sound awesome... and i'm a little vintage correct when it comes to guitars...the bridge and the strat jack to me are the only things that ruin the guitar in my opinion.... but i can also see why you love it ;) sound is killer

  • A maple fretboard on that thing would look so awesome

  • Fantastic Sounding guitar..those VMs are trully in a league by themselves in my experience.

  • The Surf Green One.

  • Great demo Damon. I just bought one I'll get it Friday from MF

Musicians Friend from Medford Oregon ( U.S.A. ).

I also might get the Super Champ Head X2.

  • I WISH it was available in lake placid blue, if it was, I'd definitely get it. LOVE the sound and look of those Lipsticks! Sonic is the blue they offer tho, and it's basically just an off white. I already have a white CV '50s.

  • sounds and looks great - good job, you did with these instruments!!!

  • The available colours for the Squier Vintage Modified Surf Stratocast are:

    Candy Apple Red

    Surf Green

    Sonic Blue

  • This is... wow!

  • I believe it's actually Sonic Blue for the third color, according to the Fender website.
