Twilight- Bella gets closer to Jacob and then falls in love with him only to find out he only loves Bella because she carries a child that is his imprint.
Harry Potter- You find out more about Voldermort and the hoxcruxes. He is preparing himself for something he doesn't know about which is the war in the seventh book.
Now get over yourself Harry Potter fans, why can't you love both as they are the same. I love them both!
ive read HP and twilight.i think hp is better cause the ending was amazing but breaking dawns ending was just like HAPPILY EVER AFTER like wth.even though theres camping and i think that 3/4 of deathly hallows was boring.The ending of breaking dawn made me want to light the book on fire.+hp did have a good handful of moments where you genuinly lol.twilights lovey dovey moments were good to but they happened all the time.but w/e its a romance.Hp builds up so theres a better payoff.jst my opinion

In Breaking Dawn, they TALK IT OUT. o0; No epic battle of good versus evil, nothing! Just TALKING! At least in Harry Potter there was a battle scene we could sink our teeths into. With people injured, disfigured, thrown off a tower and dying. How many people died in the last book? 7? 10? Honestly I lost count. THAT is a freakin' epic ending.

@hhazen100 You do realize that J.K. Rowling is a genius, she created a while new world, a world nobody even dreamed about, a world where people can actually feel like they're apart of. Stephanie Meyer has merely taken a mythical creature and added sparkles to it. I admit, Twilight is a good read, but the movies don't do it justice. The actors can't act. Both the books and the movies of Harry Potter put you inside of the story and really bring this imaginary world to life, and the actors can act.

@hhazen100 Yes I have read them many times because I like them, but they don't include anything inside of them, it's quite an empty story. In Harry Potter you have many themes and messages and can relate to almost all the characters. Like Voldemort, for example, is obsessed with his quest to find immortality showing he has a strong fear of death, which is something we all have, therefore we can relate to a character we would never have thought we'd be able to by just a glance.

You know, that's okay if you like Twilight. I'm not going to judge you because of that but, have you actually read Harry Potter or Twilight? Or have you just seen the movies.
You can't read one of the books and then be like "Oh, I liked it so this MUST be better than the other one, even though I haven't read it!"

@hhazen100 You do realize that J.K. Rowling is a genius, she created a while new world, a world nobody even dreamed about, a world where people can actually feel like they're apart of. Stephanie Meyer has merely taken a mythical creature and added sparkles to it. I admit, Twilight is a good read, but the movies don't do it justice. The actors can't act. Both the books and the movies of Harry Potter put you inside of the story and really bring this imaginary world to life, and the actors can act.

@hhazen100 Yes I have read them many times because I like them, but they don't include anything inside of them, it's quite an empty story. In Harry Potter you have many themes and messages and can relate to almost all the characters. Like Voldemort, for example, is obsessed with his quest to find immortality showing he has a strong fear of death, which is something we all have, therefore we can relate to a character we would never have thought we'd be able to by just a glance.

there's no contest here. HP has an actual plot, is writte well, has three dimensional characters, an inspired the entre world - not just a shit load of horny teenaged girls - to read.
Twilight, on the other hand, is like a fifteen year old girl's fanfic of the Anne Rice series. the prose is disgusting, the characters are flat and unintersting, and SMeyers can write for shit.

Don't you expect me to be patient with people who adore plagiarism. I've been working in the book industry for years and have witnessed what it meant to be a victim of plagiarists! I dare say all of them should end up in a prison!
Were you a bit more mature, you could notice that everything you like in Twilight is copied from Harry Potter. The only exception is the the "romance" and nothing else in the plot... and the main character, Robert... who looked BETTER in HP where he was stolen from!

He WAS stolen. Not because he disappeared from HP because of Twilight (not an actor could ever be THAT stupid). He was stolen like the movie picture, the ideas, the looks, the marketing... all was copied from HP!
Twilight is no more than a weak HP copy, except for some fancy Dans and romance; shame that chicks buy this cheap trick... and it's truly odd that chicks come to HP sites, saying "Twilight is better"...
Viewers should be more demanding when plagiarism is served up for them.

i believe anybody can read a story in their own way, i have read books that i think in contex are the best books from the point of litereature , but i will not say that i enjoyed reading them like reading twilight. so i hope u will show us the ppl who prefer twilight , some understanding. Dont like the story , but dont tell us not to like the story!!!
