I think calling Kafka "emo" is an insult to literary genius and demonstrates the degeneration of the English language. Using slang from a term for a subculture and musical genre catering to the interests of people who threaten to slash their wrists in the same context of authors who use the melancholy and the macabre prominently does NOT make them emo.

Gregor's sister didn't really care about him. She slipped food in but never looked at Gregor he hid under a chair when she came in. Gregor's sister feed him for the attention of her parents. Later in the story she stops all together. Her compassion was fake an attention ploy.
