I am not even black and i just finished talking to one of the saddest black men i have ever known. He hates Africa, african concept of spirituality, thinks Cheik Anta Diop was a loony.

@sonofthedestroyer Surely you recognize that Africa is a continent where 2,000 languages are spoken, an extremely diverse topography exists which created different cultures and ways of life.
Surely you also realize that not all inhabitants of that continent "look" the same (that's not even a universal concept) nor do they get along (the Bambara and Wolof, Tutsi and Hutsi have historically not gotten along at all)
@sonofthedestroyer And assuming that this "black man" has ancestors from there, they arrived when the inhabitants of this vast land did not recognize it as "Africa." They identified as Berber, Somali, Fon, Manega, and so on.
Why then, should this "black man" love and embrace an entire continent whose history may not be his own?
Why then, should he think highly of Cheik Anta?
The self-hater is yourself, because you do not respect humanity, u see urself as some race, instead of human.
