Well, I didn't actually see this live but yes, I agree with northerngirl999. I think the produces and directors were just shouting at each other in their office saying, "Shit man, what the fuck hasgone wrong here!! It's your fault you bastard!!!" over the internal phone line!!
But really, this kind of stuff used to happen on sky sports all the time. One minute, the rugby, the next, "Oh shit, our fisher-price PCs running Windows 95 just crashed! While Spongebob Squarepants fixes them, heres a little crappy music!"
To be honest I wonder if the newsreaders actually do anything with their script while waiting to come back on air. Maybe they just ruffle their papers to look busy or something lol
