Patrick Simmons! Always Excellent! My Favorite Song! Again, Always Excellent! Every Concert! You're a Dangerous Man :) Love the Doobies! Keep It Goin'!
Hi-drive r&r. You want it, you gotta go back to the 70s to get it. Phat brass! Those guys know how to push a lot of air through their horns. Doobie's greatest hits arguably best r&r album ever made.
'scuse me but Michael McDonald was a different kind of artist. He was more of the soulful voice of he group. And doing rather well now. Look u p his site. hanks for the input tho.
Sure, extremely underrated by many. On the other hand, they sold millions of concert tickets, and 25 million plus singles, albums, CDS and DVD. Deservely so. Very gifted bunch of musicians. And very humble and friendly to boot.
i heard this song at the end of Stone Cold, which by the way was an awesome frickin movie cuz brian bosworth was shirtless for more than half of it ;-), anyway i thought it was really good, and now i very much like the doobie brothers. hehe doobie. :D
Adam, thanks alot for posting that clip...man was Pat tearing up his guitar on his solo!!!! He looked like he was enjoying jammin' R & R with TJ now that wimp-ass Mikey McDonald is out of the picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favorite songs of all time. The doobies jamming at their best. Too bad Michail McDonald had to come along and mellow them out.

Music like this is why groups from the late 60's, 70's, and early 80's are still going strong.

I saw them on the Brotherhood tour in '91 and they opened with this. Good song but their 70's stuff is much better.
