The beauty of being in America is that we have more freedom to give out our opinions than in other countries. I'm not suggesting we're perfect, far from it. We as Americans have a very bloody history. What I AM saying is that I appreciate the freedom of speech most here take for granted.

It was a PSA made after 9/11. There was a huge anti-Arab, anti-Islam sentiment at the time, so this commercial was made to remind people of the country's diversity before these racist feelings had a chance to spread.
