  • Cool! :)

  • Hi! I am willing to buy one Vibrolux... what do you think of it for gig? high volume?

    enough clean headroom? thanks.

  • @VelhosNovos I have a Vibrolux, it breaks up at like 3 with a les paul, I'd say get a Deluxe Reverb if you want clean!

  • 1:56 ohh shittt haha

  • I've got the same custom vibrolux reverb, it sounds ok, my favourite input is normal2. (great for blues). I don't really like the other inputs as much, do you feel the same? do you like this amp?

  • Excellent tone, good playing...

  • In response to Mr.Forehand, I've found it's impossible to get a bad basic sound out of the Custom Vibrolux Reverb, it's got a beautiful clean sound up to about 3 or 3.5 on the volume then it starts to get nicely compressed and gritty without bass notes getting flabby. Best amp I've ever owned, sounds every bit as good as old Fender amps with a little bit of playing in time.

  • at what time do you use the hot british distortion? Do you have more videos reg. this distortion pedal? Thanks.

  • Your clean sound right at the beginning is sick. That must be that tc chorus pedal. I'm looking at getting one of those.

  • man i have a 1975 fender strat too and it is the most ballsist sounding strat iv ever owned and play, it has a sound that makes angels cry, the only problem with cbs strats is the the iconic contour body that fender is famous for, was not used when it was bought buy the cbs factory aswell as the bridge and saddles not being stamped with the fender name they may not have the quailty of pre cbs strats but it still rocks and i wont sell my strat.

  • Sounds good for the sound quality of the site.but would sound much better live.

  • The 70's are supposed to be not really good, is that really true and what do you think of the American Vintage 70's Stratocaster?

    Thanks

  • hey. im getting a new guitar what is better Mexican Fender Strat or Fender Tele or Epiphone Les Paul

  • personally i would go for the mexican strat

  • depends if you want single coil tones, or humbucking tones...they're completely different guitars.

  • Might consider the Tele. You get a little bit of both there. Amazing lead/rock tones and immensely clear clean tones :)

  • you should get Fender classic player 60's strat. it's the best buy for 600 bucks

  • i have had all three

i started with an epi les paul sold it

got my eric johnson strat sold hat

got my 52 hot rod tele love it my only guitar that ill ever need

  • loooooove ur clean chorus tone

  • money for nothing

  • nice vid man, I like the TC Electronic distortion.

  • You sound great and have good taste in gear. Is the 74 strat yours and do you like it? They were considered crap at one time (3 bolt neck, etc) but are making a comeback. The early 70's like the 74 were still very good. What amp did you get in place of your Vibrolux? Do you play any Marshall or higher gain amps like Mesa? Mesa is like a souped up Fender, as I'm sure you know and has some nice cleans and mean high gain. It too uses 6L6 like fender. the new EVH does too, like Fender. No EL34s

  • I love this tune, clean and distorted are both great.

  • You ought to say to the cam what you're using! The demo would be more usefull then.

  • what song did you play at 1.54 min please tell me its name

  • sweet tone

  • clean only. check out my pedalboard demo video.

  • i like your guitar

  • Fender Deluxe Reverb, it's a 22 watt amp with monster tone, like a mini twin reverb. In my opinion one of the best sounding amp I've ever played or owned. You really get that in-your-face fender tone

  • its vibrolux - 40 watt. thanks.

  • yea i know, i think i was replying to someone's comment, wtv, your sound is great, and i like white knobs :P

  • i had a hot british, tube or not, i dont like it. infact, i dont like ToneBone altogether

  • tenisaa sounds like a cheesy musiciansfriend product description

  • lol

  • the hot british isn't for everyone, it depends on your style . i like it for violin like creamy leads

  • Cool. Regretting that I sold my TC chorus now..

  • well, i sold mine too.

replaced it with the new tc phaser.

  • how is the tonebone hot british????, i'm thinkin bout buying one

  • the tonebone is a good pedal in high gain settings, however, i sold mine because it wasn't kipping the natural sounds of the guitar and amp.

  • bad

  • It would be nice if you did'nt have that discousting choeus on :(

Other than that, your stuff rules! :)

  • sweet

  • Sick chops man. I found this video when I saw the guitar listed on ebay.

  • I want the vibro king but money aint as easy...lol.. tell me what you think.

  • is that the new custom vibrolux?

    or an old original.

i like the tone. i heard they hiss alot though

  • hi,

its the new vibrolux - you are right - they sound great but there's that terrible hiss. BUT - if you make some adjustments with tubes and few modifacation they sound GREAT AND THERE'S NO HISS AT ALL.

  • what type of mods do you have to make...I plan on getting the vibrolux in the next short while and I would like to know

  • its kind of hard to explain through "youtube"...

i changed some resistors, bought another reverb tank (3 springs instead of 2), and changed one of the tubes to JJ.

i advice you to buy another amp - after the mods its a GREAT amp, but if you buy a new one its better to buy one you don't have to modify.

  • is all the gloss on your neck worn off? if so that's aweseome I love that feel

  • Great sound
