  • Every role playing game must have a gladiator arena..why

  • No need to kill him, you had the pickpocket skill.

  • Oddly enough, the right thing to say to Thorvald to get him to come with you is "Are you a Dwarf or a gnome?" after he hesitates. I think you've got to have at least three levels of persuasion, though.

  • Killing wasn't really necessary...there was a quest for it ;)

  • Too bad you had to kill Thorvald. He can join your group, actually (If you have the required stats).

Hes one of the better melee guys in the game.

  • Oh, nevermind :p (Read the other comments)

  • You noticed--oh shit

  • There is another way to get the glasses (also the way i always get them) you have to go to a guy in tarant i believe(he sells spectacles) and he will make them for you if you get a gem for him.

  • yeah, he does exist but not in Tarant. It's either Dernholm or Blackroot. I just remember because he lives near the docks

  • You pick up the blueprint for them in the chest I think, I don't even think you need tech affinity to build them.

  • The guy is in Ashbury, near the docks and elf salesmans.

  • I've never heard about this game... Our all mighty Lord Vega told something about that you can be "bad guy" in this game. Could anybody tell me what does it mean?

  • You don't have to help people or do the "goody two-shoes" path in this game. You can go around robbing, killing, or blowing up many different things.

The game has an alignment meter. Positive means that you are doing things that help people. Negative means you're a mean one Mr. Grinch.

  • Yeah, but how do you advance the main quest into the evil path?

  • you plot to do quests that involve murder or theft. Or basically you blaze a trail by killing all of shrouded hills.

  • Sounds nice. Im gonna play it again now. :)

  • I like playing it, but I also have to thank Lord Vega to be honest. The walkthrough helps as a reminder of what to do. It's also funny too.

  • ur awsome lordvega i always watch ur new vids

  • Virgil can leave you or choose not to follow you after the crash? He looks like he is a very important character for the game. The man with the secret future is always good to have in your party anyway. He is the best follower for me.

  • At the moment, I don't think there's anything we can do that will cause Virgil to leave us. However, later on that will change. No worries though. I have no intentions of letting him leave.

  • alive?

  • lol nice one

  • i like the idea of the characters you told to wait turning around, putting their fingers in their ears and whistling. how else could they not notice you brutally murder a dwarf next to them. then your charcter goes "err... heart attack" and then awkward silence.

  • Alright, thanks. I'm looking for a char with a balance between tech and magic, what race would that be? Human?

  • That would be your best bet. However, if you're planning to use both technology and magick, it might not work out too well. Technology works against magick and vice versa.

  • this is a decent looking game, you might want consider playing neverwinter after this, its old but its sort of simmular to this, plus to be honest i think it has the best plot ever(to make up for not having the best game play/combat of a game)

  • I'll be damned if the plot is better than the plot of this game.

  • well you'll never know unless you try it I guess but do what you want.

  • If you do enough things that offend your followers, would any of them leave of their own accord?

  • Yes. It's very possible a single act that a character does not like could be enough for them to leave. Smaller offenses won't bother them as much, but larger offenses, such as killing Thorvald, would have angered some of them greatly. Virgil probably wouldn't have cared, but I know Magnus would have become very upset.

  • Just to note this though, if Raven gets extremely upset she'll start waiting and you have to get her elven spring water (sold in Ashbury).

I found that the hard way, since I was an evil master in Persuasion and I asked the dark elf girl to join me. She got angry to say the least.

  • tomfooleryific

  • you spoil us L0rdVega

  • Murdering people behind closed doors solves a lot of problems in games like this.

  • Violence? Ill show you violent. I AM (l0rd) VEGA!!!!!!!!! (kicks into the pit)

  • Does Thorvald just give you the glasses when you have high intelligence?

  • I don't recall the details, and I'm not even sure if it's my Intelligence that's the problem, but I know you can make Thorvald become a follower and then just unequip the glasses. I didn't want him as a follower anyways though.

  • 05:07

That happend to me when I wanted to recruit Gar :D

  • violence is TOMFOOLERY!!

  • I'm getting this game, but I don't know how I'm going to go through. Any tips?

  • My biggest advice is just to have fun and play the type of character you think you'd most enjoy playing. The game is designed to make it so that if you screw up, there's always a backup plan. Granted, the backup plan might not always be what you prefer, but it's certainly there. You can still get through the game without knowing exactly what to do.

  • Wow...even with my computer sound at max and the youtube sound at max, I could barely hear you...

  • You should have your hearing checked out.

  • No, I checked my computer and there WAS a problem...the sound card was busted...that's what happens when you don't buy a new computer for like ten years...

  • I guess crime doesn't pay after all.
