I would just like to add to your commentary that just like wack-jobs would never go into a police station or gun range to start a killing spree, that is precisely why the choose places where guns are specifically forbidden like schools and post offices. They know that no one in those places is supposed to have a gun and therefore, they can kill as many people as they have bullets!
