Korean University, noted that around 300,000 people killed due to food shortage during the early 1990's. This is alot, but not famine. There are few journalists quoting "up to" 2 million but there is no evidence to support, but rather political to sell news paper or enhance profit to enhance jounalist career. People should not be naive and fall for that...
@klee4 well, it depends were your getting your information from, i mean i just checked wikipedia about the famine and North korea itself estimates that there own country lost 2.5 million between 1995-1998 or something like that. Idk but that's where i got my info from i mean, if North korea itself admits to that shouldn't it be true. but no one know's for sure how many died in those years darkness..

It's not that they ate dogs and now they're starving- they have no food. the lengths which they must go through in order to survive are extreme. thus- eating dogs. how terrible of you to wish death upon people who are struggling in ways in which you could never imagine.

When we visit our older generation relatives they do not greet us with "hello" they greet us with "have you eaten?" It makes us pause and think of those who will go without. The government has to be more open to the help that so many in the world wish to give.
