This version is slightly more echoey than the SNES version. but SNES is still better. Better than Amiga, Genesis/Megadrive, GBA and GB. The Game Boy version is hard to find but it does exist.
Oh dear, this is far too slow and loud. This is exactly why I decided to upload them myself from MIDI files extracted from the game rather than an emulator or any other way.
it's on the MegaDrive. Because most tv's in Europe only supported Pal 50hz back in the day, a lot of games released on the European Megadrive got the music slowed down when it was being adjusted from NTSC 60hz (US and Japanese TV standards).
Some companies, like SEGA, ensured big games like Sonic 3 had the music played at the same speed no matter where it was released. but not every company did that.
@alaru Yes. I like the Gen/MD version because this one more upbeat. The one in the SNES version is more mellow, which is nice but personally, I like it when it's upbeat.
That goes for Sparkster's Stage 1 song. The Gen/MD is more upbeat than the SNES version.
Shut up everyone, whatever the version this is one of the most awesome musics of all times :')

@TheMadPsychoFox you do know why it's slow don't you?

Genesis version plays normal.

@kdreamland I know that! I have this game for the Megadrive, and it's not as slow as this, though it is pretty slow.

Thank you so much for putting these up, I had never heard the Mega Drive versions until now. Do you have any plans to make these songs downloadable?
