Yep, the only way to beat the system is to become independent of the system as much as you can within reason, and includes eletricity supply. The hippies seem to have had the rigfht idea. They should live on local products, and support there local economy. No mass produced garment today is 'hand sown'. There is hypocrisy when people protesting aboiut working conditions of 3rd world workers making...Nike trainers, are wearing Nike trainers. The same goes for all the other labeled clothes.
