thanks king Waziri for playing in my age group, you have always been iyano quarter favorite musician, it so unfortunate for most of us that are not longer at home, it so difficult for us to hear etsako music.
Waziri is a great man, he played for free at my father's funeral, he waz a friend of my dad, but for sure, i have to pay him back for the great things he did.still have him in mind
More of Afemai (Etsako music) please.i have tried endlessly getting etsako music, i can recall lots of highly class musicians IN AND AROUND Auchi then while there as a student in Auchi in the 80s--Bolivia,Waziri,Benji,Okeke sound etc.
I use this opportunity to call on all Afemais to do more in promoting the fine and intresting CULTURE OF THEIR LAND MOSTLY MUSIC that have projected the image to the rest of the country.Though i am from Benin City,i have always love ETSAKO music.
I'm proud to have come from Edo state although I'm in England now studying but still home is still were the heart is .....Love to the Ozeto's and Inu Umoru and may his soul rest in peace...
this is one of my best musics to listen because my parents are from nigeria and my parents is also from the same village as Waziri oshomah. my parents taught me etsakor, meanig I don't need anyone to interprete for me. obilu gow oni elilo nah(thanks for this song.) i am looking forwards for more etsakor music.
Papa (Chief Alhaji Inu Umoru aka Okuomolo),You lived a meaningful life and died a fulfilled man affecting the lives of so many people around the the continent . because u only lived once, u lived a good life. If sand could bring you back then Nigeria would be a hole by now.
But what is man to question the will of the Almighty Creator. May the peace of Almighty Allah rest you... AMII

A thousand years are not enough to spend with our love ones
A million kisses, hugs and smiles are never sufficient 2 express our love
An ocean glittering with diamonds cannot be traded for our loved ones
And as the clock ticks, the hour of grief draws closer, not any sooner ey disappear from the surface of the earth
At this point, love is helpless, frustrated, tortured, deserted and goes into mourning
Our grief and tears cant bring em back but the memory of em dies with us
