  • lol.. that 170 hp mazda needs over 9 sec to 0-100 km/h? xD bullsh... my old one 2005 1.8 with 120 hp can get it in 8 sec :-D

  • I dont understand why the Mazda wins. THe Mazda 6s base engine is 2 seconds slower, and it is honestly really slow 9.4 seconds. Atleast the VW is only .5 seconds slower on the slalom, but still how many people are going to do that to their cars. then he goes before we name the Mazda king, how? and why do people want keyless start, do people have problems turning a key now days. there is a thrill from turning the key, also with push to start it is easier for your car to get stolen

  • @TheSleve22 You would be extraordinarily amazed on how lazy America has became in the recent years.

  • @G0Far what does my comment have to do with American cars? this video is reviewing a Volkswagen and Mazda. One is Japanese and the other is German. Actually the Ford Fusion has done really well so far. And the Focus and Chevy Cruze are doing well. The Focus is the number one car in Europe. And when it comes to cars, America has improved in recent years, they were doing terrible from the 90s to early 00s.

  • @TheSleve22 I was referring to the features such as keyless go, automatic driver windows, etc., those kind of things. Those things make us lazier, and would prefer having a button to start up the car rather than turning a key 3 positions forward and holding it until it starts; holding a window switch/ rolling it down; nobody wants to do that these days (go figure why). That is why the Mazda6 wins. It's a lazy mans car with all the fancy and easy features to get yourself going that the CC lacks.

  • @G0Far okay, i hate keyless starts and push to starts, plus it is easier to steal a car with those. give me keyless entry, automatic windows, air conditioner, and ipod adapter and i am happy. my car is an 07 Jetta, i dont have automatic headlights, and i dont really care

  • @G0Far the only thing i wish i had was fog lights.plus there is a rush that drivers get when turning a key, if you know what i mean, it isnt exciting to push a button. have you ever driven a hybrid, their push to starts suck because you cant even tell the car is on. and to be honest push to start is a big selling point for me, if a car doesnt have it i will take it...

  • @G0Far but with those points you are correct and now i understand your original comment...when it comes to the windows i will admit i would rather have automatic then crank windows...especially in an emergency situation, but yes push to start and keyless go are ultimate laziness

  • @TheSleve22 Oh yes I totally understand the Hybrids. The Prius is most difficult considering I was allowed to drive one. I would rather stick with a 67' Mustang. No funny computers to break down, no complicated engine work, no cruise control, no automatic transmission computers to break down, nothing. Just a solid, reliable piece of art. But that is why you barely see old cars on the road; it's too much of an arduous task to do everything yourself in an old car.

  • But then you compare the Mazda v6 with the CC v6 4motion...I like the CC better. It is a sedan 4-door based coupe. Mazda doesnt even offer AWD. The Mazda6 honestly looks really ugly, it just looks cheap, the 3 is so much better. The CC is only a four seater compared to 5, truth be told, if you need 5 seats get an SUV, no a sedan. The four seats are awesome because they are more roomier than a five seater. also the VW does have a navigation, and it does have a moonroof

  • Base Mazda 6 is much better than base Camry and Accord, I test drove all of them, the fit and finish of Camry and Accord were terrible, but Mazda 6 has soft touch material everywhere, very pleasing and while Camry and Accord's plastic dash and trim squeak and rattle all the time, Mazda is soft and quiet. VW is good, but the 2.0 engine have no low end torque, so car feels heavier off the line

  • @sszhao11 which car feels heavier off the line?

  • I love how all the little VW fanboys are crying right now. Cumon guys, they are both good cars, and the VW BARELY lost. Do you guys really care which one they choose if all you're going to do is say it's better no matter what anyway?

  • Omg Vw is sooooooo much better and yes u idiot the cc is available with a navi system and a power sunroof!!! Douch!!!

  • VW BULLSHIT!

  • @MsStormPanda shut up vw better

  • I test drove both cars before opting and buying the CC VR6 sport. The Volkswagen 4 cyl turbo and VR6 felt quicker, more refined, elegant, and beautiful plus i got it with a 10 grand discount. The Mazda was nice but felt a little cheap, and with 0 to 60 time in 9.4 seconds just didn't cut it for me. Ive owned an Rx 7 in the past and I was very happy with the speed and the way it felt on the road. But this Mazda just felt like an economy car.

  • My car of choice and I have it is my AMG s65 And I tell you for the money my 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 was a lot of sports sedan for the money. Hope Mazda brings one back I think Id get another one

  • both are great cars....even though CR says VW isnt reliable...in terms of what? just in general? as long as you take car of any car its reliable.....i own a 04 mazda6 and idc what people say....i still stand by it until i get enough money to buy a car with 4wd.....really need one :p ...as for VW my cousin owns a golf (dont know which trim) and a touareg...and both are pretty smexy......

What I find funny is all these kids sporting their daddy

s bmw and yet they just turned 18

  • @JackDanielsCHS08 or any other fancy shmancy car thats 35k and up

  • I was laughing when I saw the title, now I am stunned.

You have to be extremely stupid to compare the cc with that piece of junk.

Btw, those options that vw "doesn't have", they did not chose them, they chose the baseline... so stop being biased.

  • @ilion12345 its not a piece of junk....and also depends on whos driving what car.....the driver is also a major role not just whats under the hood

  • @JackDanielsCHS08 I had a passat 1.8T 2000', sold it to see how the japanese cars are and got a civic 2001'. The civic was a junk box, they used cardboard on the car. I don't see mazda being any better, in fact it's not. The CC is an amazing car ( I have driven one), these are just biased opinions trying to slow down german share of the market.

  • @ilion12345 well if you got the impression i was trying to hate on VW and make it sound like its a piece of shit car.....i wasnt....im just saying you should try out a car before you judge it.....check out my comment below and you shall see that I like both cars......

sadly i am thinking of selling my mazda....cuz i want a 4wd...any suggestions?

Oh btw if you havent heard already they are making a new passat thats gonna be cheaper and have an option of a diesel engine...

    ~cheers :)

    ~JD~

  • @JackDanielsCHS08 Yea I wouldn't trust the new passat, sounds too cheap for a german car, I also had a 2006 2.0T and it was mostly plastic. I would recommend touareg, it's an awesome car and I am very happy with mine.

  • @ilion12345 hmm maybe ..i mean my cousin has a touareg and its pretty fricken sweet..well his dad but we went off roading a bit...not too extreme or else he would have been effed :P.... maybe ill get a used...idk better to reasearch "new vs used" before i make a decision

  • So you want to compare a $22,000 Mazda6 with a $28,000 VW. Why not compare the $30,000 Mazda6 V6 with the VW. Biased comparison i say.

  • @edwizard62 Exactly

  • A sexy and powerful V6? Whatever.

  • I want a vw cc white on black bbs wheels

  • mazda wins? ok... but the cc is a sexy car....i want one.

  • lol stop hating vw its build to perfection

  • @saringaclose esp a new black one, plain and square. Looks like a coffin

  • True that CC sport has no blind spot monitoring, but a 40k CC can get a lot more than 33k Mazda

  • quality vs quantity thats the bottom line.ive owned 3 mazda's and 5 vw's so i know what im talking about

  • @nydrell Do you need 8 cars?

  • @FeelFree3 it isn't 8 cars all at once. you own one, let it go for another one.

  • @nydrell I know what he is talking about. I used to have mazda no problems whatsoever until I've got 328 ci. Since I have problem every month. GERMAN CARS SUCK! Defenetely never worth the money

  • @forgewire you fail at life please go return your licence and please slap the shit out of who ever gave it to you in the first place

  • @iWillShitOnYou987 I have 3, including racing one. Which one you r talking about?

  • Mazda=Reliability

  • lol! a german car vs asia car... haha ur dumb. its like american football vs. japan football :D

  • @JohnPlayer4ever American football? I didn't know that americans can play football

  • I like mazdas, I love vws.

  • Tough comparison...but...even though I love Mazdas I'm gonna have to go with the VW here since I own one and know firsthand how good they really are...I'm impressed that the turbo 4 can hit 60 in 7.3 in this bigger car...but I'm 26, and not too fond of the stereotype that goes with the CC "I'm in my fifties and I want a cheaper BMW/Mercedes"...even if VW is every bit as good of a car. Now if we were comparing V6 models...Mazda all the way...that slow 4-cyl acceleration just kills it for me...

  • i don't know why people always blame vw for having problems which they had like 15 years ago. just tell me which car manufacture didn't recall cars for having problems ? toyota, nissan, mercs, gm ferrari, honda, accura, kia, ford ect ? who didn't recall cars ? i guess all the people who blame vw want vw badly but can't just afford it. btw so trusted toyota has recalled 860 cars so far against so called unrelliable vw has recalled only 395. check yourself at mycarsstats.

  • I would rather have the less reliable more fun VW. Its way better looking and feels like more car.Of course, everyone has their own preference, so comparisons really only give the highlights of each and one person or groups opinion. In other words, either is a good choice for any person, depending on what they like.. And, any carmaker can make a lemon!

  • no upset...Mazda's the obvious winner!

  • vw has a lot of electrical problems as in lights burning and replacing them can be every month sometimes. My mom had one BUT i have to say its more comfortable to drive in and to sit in. mazda is a very good brand that offers reliability, low price tags, a lot of features, and a decent mpg. If the interior was more luxurious they would be losing money. End of story you can't have everything for a low price...

  • take those two points and stick them in your pee hole. The is winner CC thank you.

  • @emireitor LOL :D

  • i just wanna say """"DSG""""

    good bye

  • Mazda for the fucking win!!

  • i have a mazda and a audi (vw owns it), its obvious that audi is better, but no shit, mazda is really good, its comfortable, its fun to drive, and it has good price, so yeah i love both

  • @MegaAnthraxSlayer And not to mention mazda is lot more reliable

  • @tootsiejoon ummm vw is just as reliable if not more reliable than a mazda. Don't go saying I don't know shit either because I have owned both a mazda 6 and a vw passat and the passat got better mileage and was actually faster by a good margin plus it never broke down which the mazda did not either. The mazda's that my friends have owned however break down just about every year and my vw is still going strong with over 300,000 miles on it.

  • @djens33 Yeah...I have owned both too and mazda was trouble free and VW was a pain. I guess we are just trying to make a statement here based on our individual experience with both cars. I am not trying to hammer VW in fact I can't wait till the 2012 passat shows up in the showrooms, I'll probably be one of the first to test drive one.

  • @tootsiejoon cheaper and diesel xD

  • mazda is a piece a shittttttttttttttttt

  • @lucastoni11 you obiously don't know shit about cars and have probably never drove a Mazda

  • zoom zoom zoom!! mazda all the way!!

  • Mazda 6.Because sport and enjoyable.

Mazda 6 Forever.Mazda6 than better all.

  • @xLazec Then why is it 2 seconds slower on the 0-60 and only does the slalom .7 mph faster than a car that is longer and heavier than the mazda? Exactly vw cc is the better car.

  • OK LET ME GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS.JAPANESE CARS WILL NEVER BE BETTER THAN A GERMAN CAR.POINT SAID.THIS GUY WAS PROBABLY PAID BY MAZDA TO SAY ALL THIS CRAP.THEY MIGHT HAVE BETTER MPG,AND THATS ALL

  • @nydrell Ok mr caps. You really need to do some research before spouting b.s.I spent months researching cars to see which i would buy.I was gonna buy a vw golf or passat but found a LOT of owners of these cars are having major electrical problems, rain leaks that never get resolved badly fitting doors etc etc and just general shoddyness with the build quality.I ended up replacing my 15 year old mazda 323 (Lantis) which has NEVER let me down with a mazda 6 and couldnt be happier.

  • @nydrell the fact is a japanese car will be more reliable. fact. a german car will have more bells and wistles and seem to be more solid

  • @nydrell

lmfao is that why my neighbors 2007 vw passat caught on fire in the middle of the night due to shitty electrical problems?

  • Comment removed

  • @clickthepoop the mazda6 honors well its predecessor the 626

  • You can get ANYTHING for the CC

  • @peterhejlejensen

If and only if you live outside the US.

  • Please translate Czech preferably in the headlines. Otherwise it's a nice clip

  • vw win!

  • @PUROHUMOR i agrree with you fuck the mazda it s a fucken car vw great

  • Commercial at its best! German cars own the roads, theyre much more reliability, also last longer. Its a joke to compare any car with a german car...

Just check which spends more time at the service shops.

  • Compare the v6 no the l4 fucking idiots

  • I wonder if Mazda6 has IMPROVE from the previous model. I had an '04 Mazda6 and it was assemble in the US, it had a (Ghost say's mazada) problem engine stalls when driving stops and go at slow speed.. dashboard had moist problem when it rains! another thing Mazda could not fixed cuz' they can't replicate the problem..It was fun and smooth drive but I had to return it and got me an Accord never had any problems!

  • So the CC has no Nav system? Or did they mean its just not included?

  • Its odd thats the slowest 0-60 for the Mazda ive seen anywhere, most put it around just over 8 seconds.

  • @Battleneter the car tested was a plain old automatic, that's why it was so much slower than normal. They don't have a CVT or twin clutch system with the automatic models of the 6 or else those would be much quicker.

Of course the manual is much quicker than the car in the video, but with the group of buyers the video review is targeting...not many of them would want to shift themselves, so they didn't compare it.

    Kei

  • its funny that the nissan cube with a cvt got a better 0-60 time than the mazda lol!

  • The Mazda6 is suppose to compete against the Passat idiots but the Passat would still win

  • @MegaArmando77 true, passat makes more sense, i drove my friends 2010 passat, a very numb feeling steering and brakes, i hope the 6i is better

  • @idrinorbarsaku Too bad Mazda spent the money on using 4340 chromoly steel frame parts, and not on cupholders and mushy plastic.

  • what a ludicrous review... who the hell conjured up this match up, and to have volkswagen lose!?! ahahah

and also edmunds is completely wrong for saying the passat has no navigation....

    nonsense on stilts....

  • Damned US version.. European one is way better!

  • @Drothumix you read my mind!! i feel like mercedes sold their dimensions to vw or some crap like that. even if vw owns mercedes, or maybe they don't. either way it's german and they look so much alike it ridiculous. for people who know cars who would wanna buy a jetta that looks like a mercedes but you know isn't gonna be as good. idk i dont like the idea but maybe the idiots do... haha. bullies rule!!!

  • @idrinorbarsaku Also, the biggest fault of the CC is that it does NOT stand out. It's a carbon copy of it's competitors. The styling is direct Mercedes CLS rip-off! It does nothing but copy and paste!

  • @koukicrisp you read my mind!! i feel like mercedes sold their dimensions to vw or some crap like that. even if vw owns mercedes, or maybe they don't. either way it's german and they look so much alike it ridiculous. for people who know cars who would wanna buy a jetta that looks like a mercedes but you know isn't gonna be as good. idk i dont like the idea but maybe the idiots do... haha. bullies rule!!!

  • @damntheman88 You are either blind or criminally insane! It is the Japanese whose car resemble each other, not the Germans. If you cannot see the difference between Jetta and MBenz you need to consult your oculist ASAP.

I used to sell Chevrolet, Toyotas and VWs....and have driven a lot of different cars in the past 2 decades. German cars are by far superior. It is not just the engines (Japanese are known for their reliability too) but the whole driving experience where Germans are superior.

  • @idrinorbarsaku Yup, i'm 23. You're presumably much older, but you don't act any older. Which is more pathetic? You dissect my choice of words but can't say a statement without cursing. Debating with you in entertaining to the fullest because you aren't smart enough to keep up.

You say: "Funny SHIT...your age says everything about your choice of words!" You clown.

You are being destroyed, time to throw the towel in.

  • @idrinorbarsaku don't get mad at me, get mad at Edmunds. Your childish temper tantrums only act to amuse me at your mental immaturity. And I don't even own a Mazda6, my opinions are completely 3rd party. Good assumption, you childish little nescient neanderthal. Now go drink some warm milk, so you can calm down! You big baby! Call the Wah-mbulance!

  • The Mazda's handling is outstanding, its a great car although I like the old shape better

  • I am a fan of Japanese cars, but I would take the VW CC over that Fazda any day of the week. Lame review.

  • lmao, thats not even the good cc. wanan talk about controlabilitiy, compare the mazda 6 to the cc vr6 4motion. VW CC 3.6 VR6 280HP all wheel drive,22mpg.. destroy any sedan.

  • @snipa2silent77 You dumbfuck AWD makes a car slower for top end speed because of the drivetrain loss. 2wd is better RWD or FWD better than AWD.

  • @snipa2silent77 ok.....whats your point??So you wanna through the Mazda6 duratec 3.7 V6 with 272bhp in there too....

    shut up retard!

  • I dont know what idiot compares theses two cars the mazda is no match for the CC.

  • @Pacino13211 Well, what do you compare a CC to? The CC is waaaay over priced! I can get a 335i for the same as a 3.6L FWD, wimpy CC. and a 335i will shit all over a CC. I think there's a problem when a 42k dollar car is being compared to a 29k dollar car anyway. Even if the Mazda lost, which I think it should have, it shows how much VW takes advantage of it's mindless, brainwashed consumers. Not saying it's not good, but to charge 335i money for one, LMAO!

  • @koukicrisp Im not exactly sure what you mean when you say

shit over it but a 42k cc will shit over the 335 with options and inside space. check out the lane assist, park assist, navi and much much more that youll only get in a 5 series bmw and up. Dont get me wrong dough when it comes to german cars thers nothing that i hate more then do put one against the other but japs. i just dont like them.

  • The CC compares price wise against a G37S, 335i, IS350, and even C-Class Mercedes. All of them more powerful, RWD SPORTS SEDAN! The CC is for soccer moms. There's no athleticism to it. It's well built, over-engineered, and well isolated for a complete lack of character and driver involvement. I'd buy a IS350, 335i, or G37, over it. All offering similar features, but with a much more athletic chassis and engine. CC is great...for people over 60yrs!

  • @koukicrisp nop ur pricing is off think is 250 328i and tl

  • @wnnarace G37 is clearly in the realm of the CC, all the rest are no more than 5k away.

  • The Mazda looks like plastic and drives very hard suspended. The CC is much better car.

  • @newgolf You also have to take in account that a fully featured CC is 42G's! You can get a 3.7L V6 fully optioned Mazda6 for 28.5! Therein lies the difference. Yes, the CC is a better car, but is it 15G's more car? NO! I can buy a faster, equally optioned Mazda6 S and a Honda Fit for the same as a CC.

  • Unbelievably biased. I agree with most readers/comments here and believe that VW CC is FAR FAR MORE SUPERIOR than mazda.

Go compare Mazda with similarly underpowered Accord or Camry.

Lol. but not with a 200hp CC.

  • the good vw is a dead one

  • What a bunch of bias bs... The CC is gorgeous the mazda 6 looks like a mazda 3 on steroids...weird looking shapes.

You can get touchscreen navigation on the CC as well.

What a crappy comparison, it's actually insulting to watch.

  • all i have to say is VW

  • Mazda6 does not compete with CC .... What are you guys thinking?

  • mazda SUCKS!!! what a fukin ugly car. VW FOREVER!!!

  • Man I think Mazda was lobbying hard to get Edmunds to choose their car as the winner in the comparison...lol

  • WTF is edmunds thinking! VW CC is far superior than the Mazda 6. In almost every aspect imaginable. The factors that edmunds tested for are lacking and insubstantial...Really disappointing review...

Anyways Volkswagen CC Is a the true winner!

  • Interesting how a WV gets more power out of a 2L i4 engine than a Mazda-6 out a 2.5L i4 - The only reason I would get the Mazda over the VW is the price, I know the Vw cost more, significantly more (here), but it's the car with class.

  • @Giardintek The VW engine is turbocharged.

  • @MrSmondelus looks arnt everything... i drove the new jetta and passat very numb feeling cars to drive...

  • Too bad the VW has a direct injection engine that will surely have a lot of carbon build-up on the intake valves. Just look at any recent VW or Audi engine and you'll see that they are all plagued with carbon problems thanks to the direct injection.

  • @EvenSteven2004 and thats why you buy a catch can.

  • both are sweet cars, but if you're on a budget go with the 6!!!

  • bullshit

  • edmunds you are a joke!

  • they forgot to mention that VWs have FREE maintenance for 3yrs find that in a mazda

  • @mikethebeast1012

    Its called a warranty.

  • @2WIREG lol no thats not a warranty, not many companies will do all your oil changes, brakes etc, for free when you buy a car, a warranty covers parts that fail and need to be fixed not procedures that prevent failure, some other dealers offer this on other brands (ford, chevy mazda, honda) but that is a dealer choice and not a deal from the factory like you get with a VW or BMW or the few others that offer such service

  • Why don't you let the buyer make the decision instead of yourself.

  • 2.0 turbo 200hp vs 2.5 170hp?! That is a biiiiiig difference..these cars play in different leagues when it comes to horsepower..the comparrison is not fare.

  • LMAO!

I could get the Mazda GT version, save myself money and blow the doors off the ugly VW.

  • Or you could get the CC 3.6 with 280hp and blow the doors off the cheap ass Mazda 6.

  • and you can get the Mazda6 with a 3.7 liter V6 as well.

  • The 2.0T version is almost as fast as the 3.7 V6, the CC 3.6 will eat the Mazda 6 3.7 for breakfast.

  • @maxou5757 200hp to 270 is NOT almost as fast at all

  • @WIGTRON5000 hp isnt everything. The 2.0T CC does 0-62 in about 6.5 seconds in real life which means its almost as fast as the 3.7 mazda 6.

  • Plus think about it not only does the VW get worse mileage but its turbo so you need High Test which is sad that its worse on mileage considering its direct injection

  • i like mazda, never had a volkswagon b4... not planning on buying one either

  • I love how they compare it to the I4, instead of it's comparable 6 cylinder engine.

  • VW!! Is better!!!

  • vw all day mazda blows

  • GO MAZDA!!!

  • the Mazda seems a little too soft, its rolling all over on the slalom

  • I cant get, why this new cars are sow fucking slow..

my 20years old 626 has got only 115hp and its speeding to 60mph in 9,2s

most new cars are slowest then the olders one.:/

  • well, at least the CC is one of the few NA market VW still made in germany unlike most NA market VW's that are MADE IN MEXICO. either way electrical problems are still in it's future :(

  • Fucking plastic car wins???

    CC rules...

  • we always thought plastics were VW's specialty ;)

  • Maybe VWs made in Mexico....

  • by saying "plastic car" we now know you don't know a damn thing about automobile's

  • What's the problem about "plastic car"?

In my mother tongue "Plastikauto" this is the description for a sleazy processed car....

What you're thinking or "knowing" is not very important for me.

  • VW is better

  • @coldblood75 i laughed @ that too it doesnt make any sense its better in almost EVERY way other than slalom, and some features that can be had on the vw, they said no navi in the vw wtf??? you can definitely get navi in the cc lol

  • @coldblood75 check the European tests, M6 usually wins over Passat albeit narrowly

  • Being a true Top Gear fan, I suspect the CC to be much better in comparison to the Mazda 6- or any Mazda at all. Why? Think of all the American carmakers out there. Look into their cars, and examine the dashboard. It's plastic, I can guaruntee that. And guess what? Ford Motors bought Mazda our of their wits, and therefore, Mazda also has this bloody interior. Also, your car describes you. Do you want an ugly Mazda or a stylish CC? German automakers have proven to be the best.

  • i wouldn't really say "bloody interior" because in comparison to a loooot of other dashes, the mazda 6 has a pretty unique and stylish dash as well as speedo\rpm gauge with the lighting ect ect. everyone has to have their own dashes right? you can't just copy another car makers exactly. and you are correct about your car describes you! agreed 100%

  • Mazda looks also good and different, but first of all is a more reliable car !

  • Yes, I am a smart ass considering the fact I got a Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Let me beat you with your own stick, toyota camry and honda accord cost a lot less than VW CC but they are a lot more reliable, yet they are not better looking than the CC. i think you are the kind of guy that goes for looks rather than reliability. Good luck buddy

  • no sir u r the one who cares about the look rather then reability, since u said it before in ur comment. and honda, toyota more reliable then vw?? yeah sure body then why is cheaper or why peopel buys vw. r they 2 stupid or they dont think what u think??? I own 04 jetta and all i had 2 do is change oil every 3 months. no problem so far.

  • You r smart man since u r 25 and u did ur bachelorsssss, master and phd well i congratulate u, there r not many peopel who can do these thing in this age. the i assume that u r right about the cars. you should stick with the japanese cars and i stick with germans

  • @sandeeppalreddy where are you getting your facts big "MIT major"? im a technician at Autohaus and i see more hondas and toyotas come in for parts such as crankcase bearings, syncro meshes fuel pumps,

  • @sandeeppalreddy its not just about looks, i have owned VW for years had no major problems, and had the unfortunate experience of driving a 2010 camry for a week putting 800mi on it, it was one of the cheapest feeling cars i had ever been, my 99 jetta had a nicer feel than it, if you want a cheap poor quality car thats reliable then go camry, if you want a nice high quality car thats a little less reliable (according to the #s not my experience) get a vw

  • Wht makes you think that a guy who owns a cc shouldnt own a mazda6? I primarily use the mazda6 as a winter commuter car, and use my cc when its nice outside during the summer. At least where I live people have different cars for winter and summer. By the way I am from boston, ma.

  • The TSI (not FSI) engines on cc are new engines, and VW had cut corners to make these engines cheaper. Do you know VW cut the cost by more than 20% to make the TSI engines (compared to earlier FSI engines). If you tell me that you did not hear abt the DSG transmission recall on your cc then you dont own a cc. period. I rest my case.

  • @sandeeppalreddy i would say you dont know much at all, i own a GTI with a FSI engine and sometimes wish i had a TSI, why? its chain driven, has stronger fuel system, it is a better designed motor and if it had more aftermarket scene i would love to have one, its in no way worse than the FSI

  • @sandeeppalreddy also the DSG recall was just a sensor thats all, and if your car is affected then they fix it for free and extend your warranty to 100k, i wish my DSG was recalled, thats how to handle a warranty not like toyota who tries to cover it up, then hires exponent inc to fabricate some research saying they arent at fault, also mr genius you should know turbo is more efficient than supercharge so sounds like your working on the wrong project

  • I can speak with the morons on here. I am pretty sure vatan1923 has no idea on engines and cars (even though he might claim he is a mechanic). I work for MB as a design engineer, and exclusively work on designing the supercharged engines. Give my education and background, it is very safe to say that I know my cars very well (at least more than what a mechanic knows.)

  • u r one of these smart ass rn't u. if a well equiped cc coast $48grand and mz $30grand there should be difference. it's a common sense. or else peopel who buys must be stupid right paying almost extra $20grand like u seince u own mz6 and cc. u must be a rich guy

  • CC wins in my book, havent had any trouble with my vw eos. CC kills mazda in terms of styling and interior quality and engine.

  • By the way VW service suck big time. they do everything to get your money, whereas the mazda dealers call me to remind me of my next service appointment, and mazda6 interior doesnt rattle at all. these are all the facts, so deal with it.

I would rather have a boring RELIABLE car than a good looking unreliable car. These are just the facts, ask anyone who owns a passat or CC and you will hear of their nightmares.

  • sandeeppalreddy: yes sir i have a vw so i dont need to ask anyone abou maintace and i have o4 jetta i never had to fix my car all i had to do is change the oil every 3 months. boaringggggg cc. yeah sure can u afford a boaring one??? but sure u can mz6 since almost half price of cc

  • Entry level Mazda6 costs $19,200. Entry level CC costs $27,700. How is that almost half the price?

  • I was dissapointed though with the way the options were set up..I ended up with the most basic 09 mazda 6. Now I am wishing I had waitied and either sprung for more options or dropped to the 3. Oh well..still got me a Mazda! Any idea about performance parts?

Oh and FUCK VW! Have fun repairing that german piece of shit..just got rid of my 2nd Audi which again fell apart on every level and costed an arm and a leg to repair. I'll stick with Mazda.

  • @sandeeppalreddy again you are wrong, vw has FREE MAINTENANCE, owning a vw you should know this, so with all your incorrect facts i am calling bullshit on everything, i would say free is far better even if you have to mark your own calendar and call them youself

  • DO you know of the ignition coil recalls? Do you know of the new recalls thats about to ge out on the AC compressors? Do you have any idea of the mp3 player busting out al the time? I have experienced all of those, and I am not the only one that has experienced this

on the other hand, mazda6 might not have a great interior, but when my CC doesnt start, i am assured that my mazda6 works and gets to my work all the time.
