@FlummisenxD Because the way to El Dorado was sealed at the end of the first movie. o3o The second movie would consist of them making the whole trip, overcoming obstacles, braving dangers, just to come to a blocked passage. And then the credits would roll. =P Lol.

Why did Dreamworks ever stop making the hand-drawn animated films? This blows some Disney films out of the water in my opinion. So did Spirit! They were so good at it, but they stopped it so soon.

Well, in my opinion, I think this is pretty much our faults. WE were the ones who were off to see the new fangled CG cartoons instead of the hand-drawn films. WE were the ones who got tired of hand-drawn and wanted to see the new technology. I'm like both techniques, even though I love hand-drawn better, but I'm just saying.....

@VerySourLemon I suppose that's true, but I thought this and Spirit were both very successful. It was Disney who made unsuccessful traditional movies (Treasure Planet, Atlantis, etc.) and made the switch while Pixar was successful all around. Dreamworks didn't seem to have a reason to do it other than to follow the crowd. Then Disney went back to it for ONE movie, which was amazingly successful, and stopped again. I don't get it.
