I tried to get my Boxer to do this and other tricks, but he gets so confused and obsessed over the treat I have that he starts doing anything to get me to give him the treat! Haha... Then I feel bad, so I just give it to him. I love Boxers. Great dogs. =)

@faeriesdragon make em sit, say bang, put them on their backs, say bang again (while they are on their backs and hold them there for a sec )and give em a treat!... took about a 1/2 hour , lots of patience and a whole lotta treats!!! (easier when they're puppies cuz you can just pick them up and put them on their backs) It's really funny once they start to figure it out because they really want to do it and that's when you get the really slow dramatic "dead". Good luck!!

lol, that's exactly how mine started...very dramatic. he'll get quicker over time. Pick his favorite treat and let him sniff it first before you "bang!"... good motivater! :)
