You clearly don't know much about Nena, my friend.From 1982-86 her band released 4 studio albums, with many great hits, including Kino, Vollmond, Nur Getraumt, Leuchtturm, Rette mich, Fragezeichen, Lass mich Dein Pirat sein, Haus der drei Sonnen, Feuer und Flamme, Irgendwie, Irgendwo, Irgendwaan, Engel der Nacht, Mondsong, etc. Most of these songs are in fact better than "99 luftballons", the trouble was that they were never big hits outside of Europe.

I suggest doing a bit of research before making such broad and sweeping statements as "she only knows and sings one song".
