i liked the book a whole lot better. i didnt like the girl who played Kate.. she seemed to stuck up, no offense to her. and i hated that gross sex scene. it wasnt anywhere in the book. darn hollywood.

she means, for example if you were a mum at your daughters wedding, it would be happy cause your daughters met the one she loves, but sad also because now she wont see her daughter as much and now someone else has to take care of her.

Credit goes to the director and the writers, who have crafted a screen story that captures the essence of the characters and presents the themes and ideas in a clear, coherent fashion. The actors also deserve a lion's share of the kudos. There's not a weak performance to be found.
