You should definitely do graffiti some day... I once watched a documentary on hip hop and stuff, and it says hip hop is made up of four parts: bboying, emceeing, djing, and graffiti writing. I found that really interesting, and I think a lot of others would too. No one REALLY realizes it, but without graffiti, our cities would be so... bare. devoid of art forms except billboard, which no one wants to see...
Graffiti would be good. some graffiti heads go to prison for painting. holy shit... but what about trains or some jazz on how it would be better for the econmy, the enviorment or something like that. I believe we should have more train stations run through more cities. less build up on the highways. products traveling from west coast to east coast would make sales cheaper on the fact , that it goes through other cities that might want it since its passing through. dunno im just rambling. stay up
How about this: forget that you made this video and do nothing in response to all the other comments on here...but then if you did nothing it would be a non-response to my comment which is a comment to do nothing so it would really be a legitimate response...so in some sense I will save your ass my posting this...go figure!

i wanna here you talk about the use of the "n word" and cursing overall in rap.
Your soulja boy debate remix was hilariously genius.
As for a topic can u talk/rap about the mainstream media's obsession with trying to tie Obama to Blago and coming up empty. They could be talking about wall st. crooks like Madoff or the confessions of the Bush criminal cabal as they leave office. But no...it's gossiping about whether, if, Obama, could, possibly, be, connected, indicted, investigated, in league with Blago. What the hell happened to reporting news not gossip??
Your post doesn't make sense. What criminal are u referring to? I mentioned a few.
Have you been watching the news lately? I'm talking about the media trying to tie Obama to Blago, the gov who's trying to sell Obama's seat, for the past 2 weeks. They might love or hate Blago or whoever ur talking about, but they're trying to insinuate that Obama or his people are involved in Blago's criminal conduct when they damn sure know that he has nothing to do with it and was cleared by investigators.
PURPLEHULK4 GET A LIFE. Every illdoc1 video I've watched, so far, ur down there commenting all ur negative bullshit. Stop being a hater and do something productive with ur time. Illdoc1 u should be flattered that this person(she/he??) spends a chunk of their life obsessed with u.
I really can't abide hip-hop since it became a wretched parody of itself but it might be nice to have stories that feature the triumphs of those considered part of the hip hop and post-hip-hop generations. Tired of hearing about the fucked up stuff. The regular news covers that to the nines. Maybe there is someone out their using hip hop or pop culture in a new and interesting way that is actually beneficial. ... I don't know, I'm a rock fan myself. I only know of the really poular rappers.
BTW, What I did was a spelling mistake, it was off by one letter, do you seriously think I meant to say "done come at me"? Do you seriously believe that? If so, hang yourself.
Politics in hiphop.. or is that hiphop politics? Image.. why does it seem so relevant when people talk about wanting lyrical quality? The diminished role of females in hiphop, why?
You're the guru, do your thing.. it's what you do. It's like the little hater is being manipulative behind the scenes. :P
Topic to discuss: why Democrats like Chris Dodd openly express their admiration for Bob Corker, the first-term Republican Senator that took the lead role in trying to break the auto unions. Apparently Dodd thinks it's perfectly okay, good sportsmanship, to see a fellow Senator willing to put another 3 million Americans out of work, simply as political revenge for the fact that unions prefer to back Democrats.
We elected Obama, now we need to elect better Democratic Party Senators.
Anyway, as I said before, if you post something on the internet for other people to read, you are making your comment their business. If you didn't want it that way, then you should have kept your somment to yourself, in which case, it wouldn't be my business.
Notice that when I corrected your typo, it was just an intro, but my argument was to follow. You seem to have corrected a spelling mistake...and that's it. Do you have a response to my argument, or are we done?
Furthermore, a spelling mistake generally happens because one types too fast. A grammatical error generally because someone is too lazy to correctly portray their thoughts.
It's funny, you seem to have run out of things to say. You have no rebuttles and therefore I am done with this argument. If you are so stupid as to not know what the intended meaning of somment is, it isn't worth explaining to you.
What the hell is wrong with you? If you don't like them, then why, seeing as you seem to be keeping up to date on the videos, the hell are you watching them?
Well I just find it interesting that you are bashing someone's work as bad yet you watch his videos. Seems a bit odd to me. And for you information, when you share your opinion with the world, it becomes my business because I read it.
I vote for discussing why Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn don't get more media attention. Chomsky makes a few valid points about Obama's policies. I'm not anti-Obama, I voted for him too but in the spirit of change to logic and truth it seems their points on both outgoing and incoming administrations deserve a voice with a wider, younger audience. (Yikes! That's the most serious paragraph I've written in the last 30 years or so! :p)

Speak about feminism, gay rights, black power, immigrant uprise.
I think it was Ford who said they deceived and cheated customers. I guess they thought that would bank them some points for being honestly but I just feel that more than enough reason to let themselves handle it.
here are the issues that i have recently been reflecting on and i would love to get your openion on as many of them as you care to make, if you get all of them i will go out and buy a web cam and microphone and reply to all that you had to say.
1. selling of the senate seat
2.economy
3. big bail out
4. big three bail out
5. will obama live up to all the hype, it could be difficult
6. why is gay marriage still an issue when this country was founded on no religious persecution
With this whole economic crisis and MTA acting like the Sheriff of Nottingham, you really have NOTHING to talk about? If it's hip hop, how about explaining why in God's name Lil' Wayne can get 8 Grammy Nominations??? I mean, really??? There's plenty of junk out there to talk about and break down in your own special ILL way. Yeah, I said that. Forgive me.
My dear friend,..you clearly are suffering from P.E.W.S.(post election withdral syndrome)Whatever you decide to talk about just do you, and come correct, like always. And dont talk about prop 8.
Love your posts. I think the whole nation is in a post-election lull. I'd be interested in your take on Fatherhood. Obama's our nation's newest, most public model of fatherhood (both to his kids and in a way to our country). And what's with this new trend of reality TV emerging -- rappers and hip hop artists as TV Dad's? Fatherhood...it the new...well you get where I'm going.
Do females and music. Talk about what might appeal to them in music. Because i was talking to alot of women at the college. And they dont seem to know what they look for in music. They want self respect and not to be called bitches hoes and looked down on. Yet they listen to songs that degade them 24/7. Lets get into the so called intellectual mind of a female and the self degrading music they listen to.
One thing I would suggest is giving your honest review of social media. Ok, that was general, but I'm sure you could pick one platform, other than YT to elaborate on. I think that would be interesting to hear from your perspective.
The thing I like so much about your videos is that they have an extraordinarily self-aware sense of humour without ever skating past the borders of that humour into postmodern narcissism. Bravo.
I don't have any topic suggestions, because I know as much about hip-hop as I do about gourmet cooking which is to say nil, but if you're not entirely tired of politics by now I'll agree with the others suggesting you talk about Prop 8.
talk about hip hop elitist vs. hip hop expandist (not a word but basically people who listen to things outside of hip hop and are for hip hop to expand more)
I guess I'm so used to hearing comments about or relating to "gay-ness" in a negative way all time I'm almost conditioned to respond to comments like that in a negative way. Now that I am looking at it again it is a semantically ambiguous.
or he was being crass and immature and your comment was towards him and not the 6 "thumbs down" and I totally missed the boat.
talk about english rap,, look it up,, might find alot of it funny,, cos theres alot of clueless people in engnland jus like there is in america,, but there are sum people wit good lyrical content,, an dif u dont beleave me then upedy urs ,,,, cos im english/jamaican lol
My question is a two-parter? Isaac hayes...thoughts? Complex guy. Genius? Yes. Hypocrite? Ummm. That's part 1?
Part 2- Sample Videos. Good or Bad for the environment? Why does education and recognition = snitchin or has that whole idea gone the way of the 8-track? What exactly does Primo mean in his statement? Are these producers keeping us in the dark for fear of competetion or is it just about keeping brothas from gettin sued? Some samples are obvious. Where's the line end?
i would like to hear you speak on people of all denominations keeping an open mind to other things,in general. i know that seems like common knowledge, but a lot of people still severely lack seeing whats happening for the greater good. I hate arguing, so i'd like you to reason topics for this or that out, with these stubborn ass people.
The B.Scott video is not a big deal...he's a gay man that did a dance video(that was awesome by the way) with another man...being that he is obviously gay, and feels free enough to show it AND has never hidden that from his viewers...I don't see the issue in that at all. If it were 2 chicks it wouldn't be a big deal at all. Then again the sexist attitudes about it might be the topic right there...
that vote reflects the opinions of people who lived & voted in states where gay marriage proposals were on the ballot. I'm in Illinois & it wasn't up for vote here. I'm Black, not gay, and I STILL would have voted against Prop 8.
the majority should never have be able to vote away the rights of the minority. If that had been the case, people would have voted to continue slavery, to outlaw interracial marriage & stamp out womens' suffrage. I'm not given to hyperbole either - just stating facts.
Beccathepromomami, I apologize for the typo in my comment. I meant to say "blamed for prop 8 passing" agree with you*smile* For some strange reason prop 8 has become a race issue which is ridiculous and honestly a waste of time.
I'm in michigan and it wasn't on the ballot here either but I would vote the same as you. I am black and in fact a lesbian so I get angry that ALL black americans seem to be getting the blame unfairly whether they live in cali or not. People don't seem to smell "the lets pit minority against minority "game that's going on and that most of all saddens me.
I don't think there was an outlet saying ALL of Black America supported prop 8. But, being from the black community, you know and I know that the majority of our community has a problem with this issue. Looking back at Jay's 'no homo' vid, we know that the hip hop culture has its quamls. Our elders are not know to be that tolerant. Church, tradition, old skooledness? We do have a social conservative streak that we may not acknowledge. Obama's not for gay marriage, either...
(cont.) ...I myself would say let anyone that wants to marry, more power to you. But you do have to admit that our turn out for Barack may have (in Cali anyway) at least helped pass prop 8. It's just in the numbers right now. I think it will change. Oh...and I meant qualms in my previous post ;-)

semi -election related . more so , revote related .
in Ga and Minn , there were revotes for senate seats , which both had disgustingly low turnouts (except by repubs) .
why ?
do we ALL , as americans not understand why this revote was AS IMPORTANT as getting obama elected ?
why did the dem's and sadly the black voters (... and please dont misunderstand this to be a blame game on my part) not return to the polls ?
and what of the absentee voters ? revotes exclude them totaly.

Beccathepromomami 3 years ago
Beccathepromomami, I apologize for the typo in my comment. I meant to say "blamed for prop 8 passing" agree with you*smile* For some strange reason prop 8 has become a race issue which is ridiculous and honestly a waste of time.
creamfilled08 3 years ago
I'm in michigan and it wasn't on the ballot here either but I would vote the same as you. I am black and in fact a lesbian so I get angry that ALL black americans seem to be getting the blame unfairly whether they live in cali or not. People don't seem to smell "the lets pit minority against minority "game that's going on and that most of all saddens me.
creamfilled08 3 years ago
Really, i thought the Mormons got fingered for that one.....
meggymeg06 3 years ago
I don't think there was an outlet saying ALL of Black America supported prop 8. But, being from the black community, you know and I know that the majority of our community has a problem with this issue. Looking back at Jay's 'no homo' vid, we know that the hip hop culture has its quamls. Our elders are not know to be that tolerant. Church, tradition, old skooledness? We do have a social conservative streak that we may not acknowledge. Obama's not for gay marriage, either...
tbone2001 3 years ago
(cont.) ...I myself would say let anyone that wants to marry, more power to you. But you do have to admit that our turn out for Barack may have (in Cali anyway) at least helped pass prop 8. It's just in the numbers right now. I think it will change. Oh...and I meant qualms in my previous post ;-)
