- binned until 10 in the evening. You'll give yourself food poisoning or make yourself bad. The bacteria in there can multiply very fast once out of the fridge/freezer.
Anyway, I don't have a problem with skipping, whatever you want to call it. I'm going to try it myself as I'm economically struggling. Hopefully I can get a couple of pieces of furniture to sell on to second hand stores for cheap and help the environment a bit at the same time.
Don't eat sausages or meat please. I worked in Iceland stacking shelves and we wasted so many stuff (not my fault personally). We just aren't allowed to sell them if they go past a point, even before out of date. E.g. 2 days before they would be out of date. We were allowed to reseal things but often people wouldn't bother, so you'd have a perfectly fine cereal box with a minor rip get wasted.
Anyway, please don't eat meat stuffs because they could have been from 9 in the morning, then not -
@angelhatesyou75217 I apologize, sorry for attacking. I'll remove my comment. I'm just getting sick of being constantly attacked for just pointing out a health caution! But you know what, I can't be bothered constantly having to have to reply to every person who disagrees with me and decides to personally attack. So I'll let this community just be and all the best to it. Removing all my comments except this one :)
@TheUltraNinja This is such ludicrous bullshit, stop that fear-mongering about germs already. We NEED them in our bodies. Only very few are even remotely dangerous, and you would have a bigger chance of getting killed driving a car than eating stuff from a dumpster.
@TheUltraNinja I would think people could pretty easily assume the negatives, where as most the negatives and hazards to regular shopping in the store are greatly hidden and under exaggerated. Perhaps spend some time informing people of the hazards on regular shopping adds on Youtube?
Hmm I work in the chilled foods department in a New World supermarket and we throw out a shit load of food which is a shame I think if it only has one day left with no chance of selling it then just give it away instead of throwing it. But that kiwi bacon and the yoghurt would of been out of temperature for an entire day so.... did you guys get food poisoning or something or did is taste like shit?

There is no reason why we shouldn't create abundance for everyone. We have the technology and the know how, so lets do it.

It is a travesty. My sister and mum used to work at tesco and they were forced to put the foodstuffs in the bin.
