@gokuthebeginner watch Shawn Farqhuar's Shape Of My Heart routine, he fans half of the deck out, does a double lift and uses his elbow to push 'the card' into the fan whilst putting the actual card between his teeth...

it wasn't a full/regular deck. i just picked up some cards off my floor and it just so happened there were two 8 of clubs in the pile.. there may have been some other doubles or cards missing in there

the video is loading so slow for me right now i will have to check later... but let me metion that this was not a legit deck of cards... i just grabbed *about* 52 cards off my desk.. i had probably 4 or 5 similar decks just sitting there and they had started to mix together. i may have had two 8's of clubs, but i assure you i wasn't using both to pull off the trick :)

you can definitely see me do it too.. if you do it this way, rely on misdirection.. if you don't want to rely too much on misdirection, check out the video response to my other video "ambitious card routine explained" and he teaches an alternate method to accomplish it.. :D

Do it the way David Blaine does it. I'm afraid Mr.Jerakahol didn't cover it but he's still cool. After the spectator put the card on top of deck, or while they're taking the card and looking at it, you can get a break on the last card of the deck in your hand. Then the card's placed on top and you swivel cut bottom deck onto top while still retaining the break. That's it :-)

I have mixed feelings about exposure. Free tutorial videos has sucked me into the world of magic so I can't bash you at all, but in some way this explanations are visible to people who cares nothing about magic or the manipulation art, and wish to know the tricks just to sound smart with friends when someone is performing (or worse, to act like hecklers).

May I know why you're exposing these?

in my experience it is normally the tricks like sinful that are posted that the average person will watch simply to know how it's done... i don't think any average person would watch a 40 minute tutorial on the ambitious card or on misdirection or a 10 minute tutorial on the pass, because they're not mainstream enough or "enticing" enough.. but i could be wrong, too! at least, that is my thought process :)

nice tutorial m8. And as for the dikeds that rabbit on about exposing the secrets etc, surely only those who are interested in magic are going to spend time searching for magic tutorials..

You have some talent it's a shame you are giving away magic effects. You could make your tutorials private and share only with your magician friends. Pros look at people who expose magic as the bottom of the food chain. Its a shame because you sound like a nice guy.

you could use pencil.. that erases off and if they write lightly there are no marks

One question... if u use a dry erase marker, it will come off right? because i dont want to ruin my cards or have a permanent signature on it. thx

it will not.. sorry to disappoint.. it you sign a card there is no way to get it off
