@michal1dlouhy first: they are silent, they dont sound like plastic top keyboards. the clicks sound silent than normal... you almost cant even listen to the middle roll if you roll it slowly. but if you click it you will hear. and by rolling it fast yo will hear the sound of it rolling...
by the way, you can yes buy some new feet from everglide, i think that the name of the brand... the are quite the same, but i dont need, my mouse pad is made by cloth, indeed, my lach works perfect on it...

And i myself dont know much about the surfaces and wich suits for what type of mouse, like cloth, rubber surfaces and id really love if someone could reply me What kinda mousepad fits the Razer Lachesis?.
This is a great mouse, the high sensitivity is a must for any FPS gamer. I personally use a cloth mousepad, since the hard surface type mousepads wear down the teflon feet too easily. If you live in the US, I would recommend you buy it from Amazon, since they have the lowest price for a new retail version ($60 opposed to $75+ anywhere else).
