  • Harris rocks!

  • As much as I love this video I just cant stand a tease!!!! Where is the rest of it? lol Thanks for posting this part....I really enjoyed it!

  • This line up of guys is my personal favorite. Really as long as i see Richard and Dennis together its all good. They put more energy into there over all perfomances. There both very flirty and they connect with the audience better than any of the others to me and there both excellent dancers.

  • I wonder how Harris and Street felt about singing Kendricks and Ruffin leads? Did they feel empowered, or did they just try to get through it?

  • I love me some Richard Street

  • Does anyone have Part II and III of this performance? If so, would you please, please post it?

  • takes my breath away.

  • ''Who ever post this..please show all of it''

  • Splendid.

  • @MultiplicityMe2 The vocals on this alone is equivalent to getting the Holy Ghost in church, lol! ~ Phurdrick :)

  • @breathoffreshair360 Sho 'Nuff, Mr. P~

  • Its a shame that Damon's ego got soooooooo huge once his 18 month probationary period was over. I read the Otis Williams autobiography for the 2nd time and I went over Damon's tenure very closely. He got lazy and disrespectful, not to mention he made an ass out of the Temps at the Apollo in 75. And in the end when they booted him, he still had the nerve to not take dismissal well. He had a decent falsetto. Very youthful, not as good as Glenn but definitely good.

  • Plus he was sooooooooooooooo fine.

  • Dennis Edwards had such a commanding voice. Loved him up front..

  • Where is part II

  • Dennis had one of the GREATEST, most powerful, commanding, SANGINGEST voices in music history folks!

  • @dienglee True, but dont forget about teddy, eddie and gerald levert..

  • @bigcartoonyIIV tru that...tru that. Teddy and Eddie L. cannot be overlooked. I make similar comments on their videos.

  • Damon's voice is so nice...I love that little,"Hi!".

  • The Grammy-Award winning "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" lineup of Hall of Fame Legend Dennis Edwards, Superlative first tenor of Damon Harris, the Personality Man Richard "Soul" Street , the last surviving orignal Otis Williams & the Earth -deep Melvin Franklin. Each member brings their own quality & style to The Temptations. Damon Harris previously sang lead with The Young Vandals, & Impact while in Philly, Richard Street was lead singer with Motown group The Monitors & Dennis with The Contours.

  • Really don't like Richard on lead--except on "I Like Your Style" and "Heavenly". He was a good singer, but he could never match David or Paul in my opinion.

  • @hopediamond4real OKAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!! LOL

  • @hopediamond4real Why do people always say he's not like David or Paul? Of course he's not, because he's Richard. I hate it when people do that, Richard may not have as strong a voice as those singers but he's not a power singer he has a sexy soft tenor voice which was perfect for the songs he lead like Heavenly and Firefly. David or Paul would'nt have delivered those songs as well as he did. Not taking anything away from David or Paul they were off the chain vocally (excellent vocals)

  • @skiriddle85 i think David would've because his voice is just that amazing he can go soft like Richard or rough like Dennis just my opinion

  • This was not my favorite line up, because my beloved Eddie was gone, but I gotta tell you, they are sounding wonderful! Mr. Harris really studied Eddie's style and nearly perfected it. But he was nowhere near as good-looking as Eddie!!!!

  • Dennis was tooooooooooo fine!!!!

  • Damon Harris..such sweet vocals!

  • Damon Harris Mr.Baltimore!~check him out in his group from Baltimore Md, called the young Vandels! The closest thing to Eddie Kendricks they ever had!~

  • Dennis is so handsome. He was by far the best looking Temptation.

  • @Lushious50 That's probably why Aretha was so turned out and on by Dennis..lol

  • Eddie was great at what he did but when Damon left the group that's when I stopped listening to The Temptations.

  • Damon Harris sounds SO MUCH like Eddie.

  • Does anyone have Part 2 and 3 to this concert? If so, please post because they are awesome.

  • *SIGH* Why can't my generation put on true live concerts like this?

  • Does anyone have Part 2 cause this is awesome!

  • part 2?

  • dang that dude sounds just like Eddie... (not to compete with the original, though)

  • @KingMarcusPlay Hey KingMarcusPlay, I agree with you. Quick question though, how do you feel Ron Tyson compares to Eddie Kendricks?

  • @StubbyCub I mean Ron Tyson is a wonderful singer, like Eddie himself... but nothing really compells to the effect that Eddie Kendricks had on the group... I can easily distinguish Ron from Eddie in a song... This dude singing in the vid above had me wonderin' for a sec :)

  • @KingMarcusPlay I can respect that, Eddie did have a one of a kind sound.

  • wow! this is rare

thanks for posting, i love the Tempts back then

  • Excellent.....this pure gold! Should put this on DVD.....

  • Slamming as always, this was a good lineup

  • Great line up, Damon Harris was the cream of the crop, they sound look great.

  • Damon Harris, the original replacement for Eddie Kendricks singing " Love woke me up this morning" his first single lead with the Temps, Damon lasted 5 years as aTemp from 1971 til 1975 and was replaced by Glenn Leonard, Richard Street sings lead on " The first time ever I saw your face" Richard was with the Temptations for 22 years from 1971 til 1992 when he was replaced by Theo Peoples.

  • LOVE THESE GUYS W/ ALL MY HEART!

  • the second tune...who is singing and is it on vinyl anyone????

  • Anybody who can't respect this combination of Temptations is a musical fool. Listen to the music and look at how great they look

  • @themastersellers I TOTALLY AGREE

  • It was 1973. I understand he committed suicide on the same day or weekend as Richard Street's wedding

  • Totally awesome!!!

  • Great video. Is this available on DVD? Damon was awesome. IMO he is the only falsetto/first tenor of all the Temps, past and present, who sounded like Eddie Kendricks.

  • Paul Williams passed away on August 17, 1973

  • Comment removed

  • WAS THIS AFTER PAULS DEATH??

  • @sheddski i am not sure he passed in 72 or 73?

  • I TOTALLY AGREE I HOPE AMAZON WILL ONE DAY

  • I am willing to pay TOP DOLLAR for this video in its original version.

  • This is an excellent show. Thanks for sharing....

  • Could you please post the rest of the concert, of the Temptations live in Paris 1973

pt 2 is missing..and I was just about to go and pop some popcorn!! and listen to the world's best male singing group Darn...what a tease!!! lol

  • Please post the other 2 parts to The Temptations Live Paris 1973. I can not get enough of looking at the face of one the finest men I have ever seen--Dennis Edwards.

  • There was 3 or 4 more parts of this video. Can you please post them again.

    Thanks sooooo much.

  • I love this video, Downloaded the first song from Itunes after I heard it. Also love seeing closeup's of Dennis' beautiful face, even his sweat looks good! Thanks for posting.
