Seeing as I am the owner of a strawberry colored trayloading iMac, it's is actually rare to see an iMac with a trayloading drive that won't close. However, it is nice to see many of these machines are still loved by vintage collectors. :)
add in more ram and linux and youve got a great workhorse. i did that on my first bondi blue imac and i used it for years as my 2nd machine for photo editing and typing. i even used it for light video editing.
That was the first computer I ever used, had some great software and games.

i have a pc from 10 years ago, it dosen't work at all. I have a ten year old iBook, it runs like new. Yay Mac!
