@ZombrexAbuse I like Legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver for what it is. Couldn't care less about what it "should've been". Same arguement is vetted in regards to Fallout 3, where many believe it should have been the "Van Buren" project that was intended to be Fallout 3 before the company crapped out and shit the bed on the franchise. Bethesda took over the reins and release a Fallout I was happy with. As for the LoK series, I'm fully content with what they made it and I've always known. IMO.

great series, this is one of my favorite games next to metal gear solid. Both legacy of kain and metal gear solid both have storylines that make u wanna play the game to see what happens next in the story. Legacy of kain and metal gear solid are tied for my top 2 game series, thumbs up if u agree that this series is amazing?

I loved some of the script in this game, like the things Kain would say - "We are all pawns in a game, Raziel, we are moved to a point and made to perform what we are destined to do. We can never change the outcome for the outcome is all that we exist for." - Or something of that nature.

Thumbs up if you guys think Peter Jackson might the perfect director in making the series into movie anthology? Also casting: which actors, let's be fair and not biased, best suit every single character from the game; from Kain, Janos, Raziel, Mortanius and Umah? I think they should make every single on in chronological order, with all existing timelines, which often overlap into each other. For the introduction, they should do first the Ancient and Hylden war to establish the movie anthology.

@juelznikkua Don't make remakes! Instead get yourself a cheap PS2 and a PS1 memory card and play the game like it was meant to. Remakes usually fail to catch the tiny details that made the original great. Updated graphics are not worth that tradeoff.

I know people, loyal fans of the series are in a state of limbo at the moment. But, don't fret, folks, soon our favorite and true Vampire saga will return. I heard from the Eidos CEO that he is interested in bringing the series for current next generation consoles, the PS3 and X360. All the installments in this wonderful, underrated series were masterpieces in their own respects, yet the gaming critics bashed it with their ego; this series will make an awesome anime series, expanding its story.

@mulletwesker because of first games from these series :] they were called Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Kain is the main character in the history of Nosgoth itself, the Balance Guardian ( well main from the point player's point of view ;) ) and main object are the Pillars ( The Pillars of Nosgoth was the first concept of game name ) and besides, Kain awoke Raziel as a vampire from his saraphan tomb, and his brothers also ;]

Janos must stay dead because only with the heart of darkness can Janos be resseructed. The Heart of darkness is actually Kain's Heart. The Hylden entity that possessed Mortanius and Turel in Defiance also possessed Janos Audron when he and Raziel Confronted eachother. Turel and Mortanius were weak, but Janos was always strong so by Janos's Body the Hylden battled with Raziel.

Everytime I listened to this masterpiece I fell like I am in another world. Truly this is not just Raziel's main theme but the soul of Nosgoth itself. Yeah I agree with mcspoons on a prequel of Soul Reaver were Raziel is still a Vampire with a new storyline before Raziel's encounter with the Elde God...and do I hear a silent guitar strings? Awesome! I want to hear about Raziel's years as a Vampire, his clan and his fledglings.

I would love a prequel that allowed you to play raziel when he first became a vampire leading up to kains betrayal...Which I guess really wasn't a betrayal lol...God that storyline was so deep...This game didn't get the praise it deserved...I may be thumbed down for this but none of final fantasies stories touched legacy of kain's...I honostly don't think any game ever has.
