For years after this, I could tell if someone was cool by just saying, "Don't mess,,, with Ed!" If they knew what that was, I usually got along with them.

I caught them in concert during this era, even had the conert t-shirt for a while, wish I still had it. I still have that CD and play it every now and then.

Back in my days with uncle sugars canoe club. I was on a diplomatic mission on the beaches of Maljorca under the influence of THC(Tequila.Hashish.Cocaine) and I had the Dread jamming on the box next thing I know some cute topless Spanish nationals came up and started groov'n. This little spanish beauty wisper'd in broken english; I like you... not typical American asshole. The rest of that port of call was heaven! Turns out she was into under the influence THC sex to! Me and my dad became aware of the epicness of Dread Zeppelin about 6 years back. Ever since then, we have be on a look out for any albums, videos and tapes from these guys.

"Don't mess... with Ed" at 3.25. Man, great stuff! Saw these guys in concert in Florida when the first album came out, great show, had the tour shirt until I wore it out. I would tell people, "Yeah, the concept is moronic, but listen to what it sounds like," and every time, peopel conceded it actually sounded really good. Still have the CD and listen to it every now and then. Thanks for posting this!

I can say that the guitarist's sound was insanely LOUD!

I've heard Dumbles, whudevas...This was that ready to blow kind of feedback riding a crystal clear fundamental tone with all of the harmonic content you can hear in a mastering studio.

They really do look like sum stoned muthasferyuh. But they do their schtick masterfully. Don't miss 'em.
