I saw this several times in the early '70's. CBS Children's Film Festival was a rare gem of it's time...tho' Kukla, Fran and Ollie somehow disturbed me.

this is a great, classic movie. I saw this with my grandmother at the Kuhio movie theatre in Honolulu when I was around 9, I'll never forget it. how did you get the footage? is it available for sell? please let me know.

A guy from Hawaii was offering it on Ebay about 2 years ago. Apparently he came into possession of an old, color-shifted 16mm print and had it transferred to DVD. After selling about a dozen copies, he closed shop.

Did anyone ever find a DVD of this? This is the first movie I ever remember going too. I was around 5 at the time and for the last 10 years have been searching for a copy. Anyone out there please help.
